Adly works at the National Library, and his boss, Abdul Ghani, tells him that he will never be head of the National Library. Abdel Ghani turns him for investigation for not following his orders.
Malak finds an old book of her mother with a dedication from Adly Allam. Adly's wife, Hayat, goes to Sheikh Sadiq with his requests because she thinks that someone has cursed her, which made Adly become repulsed by her.
The library catches fire, and Adly finds a book in the ashes, and he takes it home. After his wife throws it away, Adly finds the book the next day at work. He finds a paper with strange writings, and when he reads them, the room starts to spin.
A girl called Sala comes out of the smoke, and she tells Adly that she has been waiting to see him for 65 years. She offers to give him anything he wants, but he declines. She makes the library look better and Abdul Ghani takes all the credit.
Sala starts controlling the people around Adly including his wife and Araby, his brother in law, and the latter's wife. Sala convinces Adly to go out with her.
Hayat asks Adly to get her some things from the spice dealer. Adly tells Sadeq about the book and he gives him the address of where the book came from. Sala puts a lot of money in Adly's wallet.
Adly and his friend Samy, the lawyer, go to the house where the book was, and a man tells them that the book came from Iraq and was given to his grandfather, who failed to decipher it and died while trying to get rid of it.
Samy tells Hany that Adly will write him a book about planning. Sala tells Adly that she wants to go back to her tribe.
Adly asks Sheikh Sadiq to help him get rid of Sala and he gives him some spells to use, but Sala tells him that they're useless. Sala asks Adly to marry her.
Hany publishes a book using what Adly wrote for him, and Sala blames him for doing this.
Adly finds out that Hany became the Minister of Planning, and Samy will be his legal advisor. Malak goes to meet Adly and her father, Zaki, tells her not to see him again. Zaki's wife tells him that Malak needs to go to the mental clinic again.
Sala uses a crystal ball to make Adly see that Zaki and Sadeq are looking for monuments, and Adly writes an article about this. Zaki and Sadeq are arrested, but later, they are released and Zaki wonders how Adly found out about what they did.
After reading one of her old letters, Zaki finds out that Malak's mother used to love Adly.
Shawqi plans with some thugs to switch Adly's bag with another one full of drugs. When Samy goes to defend Adly, they find out that the bag is full of documents and the drugs disappeared.
Adly is released from jail and Sala tells him what Shawki did. Zaki warns Adly to stay away from Malak.
Sala scares Hayat when she speaks badly about her. Adly throws a wedding party for Malak and Mohy. Sala takes Adly to the mountain of the Red King on Al-Wahat road.
Sala disappears after Adly tells her that he only loves Malak. Adly can't find the book that caused Sala to appear, and he revisits the house with Samy once more.
Adly tries to read the spell to bring Sala back and he's taken to the mental hospital.
Sadeq gives Hayat two books to make Adly love her and another one to cure his madness.
The demon Silal asks Adly to stay away from Sala, and in exchange, Adly asks him for money and to give him a list of the names of the books in the library.
Adly wants Silal to help him prevent Sadeq from winning the elections, and Silal makes him take part in the elections to compete with Sadeq. Samy is upset about what Adly did.
Silal makes Adly win the elections, and he takes him to the mountain on Al-Wahat road. He forces Adly to tell Sala that he hates her, but she doesn't believe him. Samy tells Zaki that Adly became a member of the Parliament.
Adly asks Silal to help him fulfill a number of people's demands. Silal calls up the government of the Jinn Kingdom to help Adly.
Maslol hits Sadeq and the police arrest them. Sadeq pretends to be mad. Adly meets with Silal and the government of the Jinn to solve the problem of supply in Egypt.
The Minister of Planning of the Jinn tells Adly that the only solution to the supply problem in Egypt is that 50 million of the population kill the other 50 million. Sala tells Adly that he has become the people's hero, and she warns him from Silal.
Adly sits with Silal and Maslol to discuss the traffic problem in Egypt. Malak wants to donate her father's money because it came from illegal ways. Madkour, the electricity collector, teaches Zinat's son, who is a dancer, and she asks him to marry her.
Adly exposes the shortcomings of the Minister of Education in the House of Representatives. Sala tells Adly that Silal and the Jinn are plotting to destroy him.
The king of the Jinn wants Maslol and Silal to turn Adly into a corrupt man. Samy asks Adly to go to a nightclub and Maged was behind this to take pictures of Adly there.
Adly goes to Tharwat's palace and asks Silal to live in it, which makes Hany file a case against him. Adly tells Maged that he bought the newspaper and that he reported him to the police for sharing intelligence with foreign countries.
Adly is told that he will be a Prime Minister. Mohy and Malak will travel to Uganda. Horryia regains her vision after the operation. Adly returns to his palace and Sala shows up to tell him that she hates him for what he did.
