When the singer they hired bails on them, Jamal fills in for him with the band to sing at a wedding. Salah helps the police catch the criminals who smuggle medications or sell counterfeit medications.
When Mohga tells Jamal that she's carrying his baby, he's forced to agree to marry her. His father, Azmy, grows angry and kicks him out of the house. Salah quarrels with his manager who passed him over for a promotion, only to be suspended from work as a result.
Salah's neighbor files a complaint against him, leaving him with no option but to pay a sum of money. But when Salah tells the police officer that he doesn't have the money, Mazazngy (Jamal) appears at the last moment to pay the money in his brother's stead.
Believing that Jamal's money is ill-begotten, Azmy refuses to accept money from him for his heart operation. Walid and Salah convince Azmy to take the money as a loan.
As Mohga wakes up in the hospital after she has a miscarriage, she enlists Salah's help to convince Jamal not to divorce her. Jamal uses the incident to quarrel with Mohga and kick her out after divorcing her.
Walid discovers that Taheya is an addict. Salah decides to seek treatment for his mother, Taheya, at home instead of taking her to a rehab facility.
When Salah refuses to take part in the illegal trade of medicinal drugs, his brother-in-law offers him a job as the manager of his new pharmacy, which gives him the chance to make sure that nothing shady goes down at the pharmacy. Salah considers taking the offer.
When Salah is sentenced to prison after his manager sues him, he prepares to appeal the sentence. At home, Salah makes a herbal mixture to replace his brother's hash. Jamal asks Salah to get him more of the mixture.
Salah agrees to work with Samy at his pharmacy, but when he sees him receiving a shipment of illegal drugs, he takes a video of the incident to turn him in to the police. Abu Al-Kerf decides to sell Jamal's new mixture and asks him to provide large quantities of it.
Salah agrees to get his share of the drug sales from Jamal. Jamal discovers that Bisa is about to have an unregistered marriage with his sister, Sahar.
Mohga asks Rania to stay away from Jamal. Taheya robs her daughter, Sahar, so that she could buy drugs from Mastoura.
Tota discovers that she is carrying Al-Bahz's child. When Jamal and Salah decide to try the mixture themselves, Salah ends up in trouble as he attends a party at his son's school.
Salah discovers that his mixture has the same effect as regular drugs. When he informs Jamal, the latter tells him that the dealer adds some light drugs to the mixture. Salah asks Jamal to take the mixture off the market, but Jamal refuses his request.
Salah stops making his mixture after he learns about its damaging effect, prompting Jamal to try and make it himself. When Jamal's efforts end in failure, Al-Bahz asks him about the identity of the person who has been making it, but Jamal refuses to tell him
Jamal plots with Maher to use Salah's lawsuit to pressure him into making the mixture again. When the police arrest Salah, he is forced to agree to continue his work with Jamal.
Salah receives notice that his wife, Mona, is suing for abdicative divorce (khula). But when he shows her the money he got from his deal with Al-Bahz, she reconsiders her decision and goes back home with him. Jamal finds Mastoura at Abdu's house.
As Mazazangy and Rania grow close, he proposes to her. As Salah continues to make his mixture in Al-Bahz's labs, Jamal warns him that Al-Bahz has installed cameras inside in an attempt to get the recipe for the mixture.
Jamal tells his wife Mohga that he married Rania. Taheya goes back home after she beats her addiction. Salah complains to Jamal that his wife Mona is preoccupied with other things and isn't paying him any attention, which leads Jamal to advise him to cheat on her.
Salah's attitude undergoes drastic changes as he stops adhering to his principles and morals. As Rania tells her parents that she wants to marry Jamal, the two of them get married. Jamal proposes that he and Salah open a production company as a cover for money laundering.
Zizi forces Jamal to marry her in secret. Walid marries Zeinat, much to everyone's shock. Akmal convinces Sherwet to provide him with money to use in his trade.
As the drugs cover the streets, the police turn their attention to the incident and set their people to investigate. Zizi reveals to Rania that she is married to Jamal, leading Rania to ask for a divorce.
When Salah meets a Lebanese girl, he offers to have an unregistered marriage with her. Rania returns to Jamal's house. Jasser breaks into the house of Al-Bahz's wife, Tota, to kill her in order to prevent her son from getting the inheritance.
Salah's relationship with Mona goes downhill. As Salah prepares to produce his first film, he has a number of TV interviews. The police realize that Abdu is the dealer who has been providing the new drug.
Mona learns that Salah is having an affair with the Lebanese girl. As Azmy and Taheya prepare to go on a pilgrimage (hajj), Mona tells them about what Salah has been doing to get revenge on him.
Azmy dies from the shock after he finds out the truth about his children. Salah divorces Mona for causing his father's death, threatening to keep her son Karim away from her. Mona washes her hands off Salah and Jamal.
The Lebanese girl informs Salah that she is pregnant. Salah gathers Mohga, Rania, and Zizi in one house. Salah refuses to continue making the mixture due to his grief.
Mona threatens to sue Salah for alimony. Sherwet discovers that Akmal has swindled her. Rania reports Maher and his Gulf client to the police for being spies.
Salah marries the Lebanese girl. Sahar marries Bisa. Walid divorces Zeinat. Jamal warns Salah that Al-Bahz won't let him be, but Salah insists on stopping the mixture.
Al-Bahz tells Jamal that he will kill Salah if he stops doing the mixture. Salah tries to get his father's book published to honor his memory. Al-Bahz's men shoot Amany, Mona, and Samy.
Salah tries to get Taheya to forgive him before he turns himself in to make up for his crimes. Al-Bahz becomes Salah's cellmate. The police arrest Jamal, leaving Rania and Zizi to ask for a divorce, while Mohga chooses to support him.
