The play depicts Bani Hilal's biography and follows Sadaa, the daughter of Khalifa al-Zanati, and Al-Hilali's son Maree. Sadaa sacrifices the country and her father for her love, and Dhieb kills the father. Dhieb insists on asking her to marry him so she can sit with him on the throne, but she tells him that her heart is with Maree and thus her life ends, or she ends her own life, as one of the fortune-tellers predicted.
