Nidaa is upset by her cousin Sael’s closeness to her and suspects that he has stolen his livestock. Abu Qasayed loses his way and asks Farhoud for help, but Farhoud leaves him in the desert and seizes his horse.
Fawzan tells Shalash of his desire to marry Reem, but Abu Shalash insists that she marry his son. When Abu Qasayed returns home, he discovers that Farhoud is the one who refused to help him and has also turned down his request to marry his daughter.
As Shalash likes Nidaa, Farhoud meets Reem and decides to marry her to obtain the money needed for the dowry of Qasayed.
Abu Shalash refuses Farhoud's request to marry Reem, so the latter leaves the country. Shalash continues to search for Nidaa, grieves over her departure, and Sayel bargains with Farhoud to marry him to Nidaa in exchange for giving him the dowry of Qasayed.
Shalash finds Nidaa, but her brother Farhoud expels him and rejects his marriage proposal, and Abu Qasayed decides to leave the tribe.
Abu Shalash asks Fawzan to search for Shalash after he was expelled from the tribe, and the latter helps Qasayed reach the village of Radad.
Shalash tells Radad about Sayel stealing the cattle, and Abu Shalash goes out to look for his son himself, but he falls ill.
Fawzan fails to find Shalash, and Farhoud deceives Sayel into believing that Nidaa has agreed to marry him, so that he can hand him over to Radad.
Sayel discovers Farhoud's deception and flees, but Radad catches him. A snake bites Shalash in the desert, and he remains alone, struggling with death.
