It turns out that Lam'at didn't kill Abu Taleb; she only imagined it. Hamza gets sick following Aziza's disappearance. Lam'at hires Azmiya to spy on her enemies.

Lam'at convinces Umm Saber to get married. Azmiya starts effecting Lam'ar's plots as she stays at Abu Taleb's house for a thorough look into their lives. Mohsen finds Aziza's diaries. The Agha continues to torture Aziza and her father.

The Agha accepts to forgive Abu Al-Ezz if Aziza becomes his maid. Mohsen lies to Hamza to get him back to his senses.

Hamza gets mad when Mohsen lies to him. Upon reading Aziza's diaries, Hamza decides to search for her. Umm Abdo affirms that Mariam is bewitched. The governor blames Abu Taleb for not paying attention to the affairs of the neighborhood.

Lam'at lies to Umm Shawkat to postpone the Agha's idea for a group wedding; she claims that her sister died.

Hassan finds the dagger that belongs to Abu Taleb's assailants and investigates the matter further. Sheikha Na'iema holds a religious Dhikr (remembrance) ceremony to ask God to heal Mariam. Lam'at tries to get Na'iema murdered.

The police investigate Na'iema's death, and Abu Taleb realizes that the motive was to impede Mariam's recovery. Abu Al-Houl tells Taher that the dagger was made outside Syria.

Abu Taleb investigates Azmiya, and Lam'at interferes to get him to believe her story. Hamza tirelessly searches for Aziza. The group wedding eventually takes place.

The Agha plots to seize the chance and murder Hassan during the wedding. He also tries to show that he would make a better mayor than Abu Taleb.

The Agha is distressed to learn that Hassan is alive. Lam'at plots to wed Umm Sabry to Adly. The Agha writes the estate over to As'aad.

Lam'at decides to kill Sheikha Khadija before she gets exposed. Mohamed is shocked to learn of his mother's marriage to Adly. Lam'at bribes Fadiya to prevent the transfer of the estate to As'aad's custody.

The Agha bribes Mamdouh, the police chief. Upon Lam'at's orders, Sheikha Khadija is murdered.

Abu Taleb investigates the murder of Sheikha Khadija, while the Agha tries to have the case closed. Hamza enlists Khawaja Elias's help to find Aziza.

Abu Taleb suspects that Azmiya is behind Khadija's murder. Umm Nasry urges her son to quit working for the Agha because of his illegal activities.

Hamza finds Talal and tells him the reason he left Mal Al-Sham is that he can not have children. As the Agha claims that Talal is dead and holds a funeral for him, everyone is shocked when Talal returns to the neighborhood, safe and sound.

As Talal settles down, he decides to divorce Mal Al-Sham in order to save her the agony he is going through, but Abu Taleb and Mal Al-Sham clearly oppose his decision.

Hassan investigates Mamdouh, the police chief, after the fabrication of Talal's death. Mamdouh begs the Agha to save him and kill Hassan.

Umm Saber is upset to learn of her son's decision to travel to Egypt following his marriage. Lam'at asks Esmat to agree to wed her son Sherif to Abu Taleb's daughter.

Aziza suffers from the harassment of the Agha's friends. The Agha fails to have Hassan murdered.

Umm Hassan tries to help Talal. The governor shows his disapproval of Abu Taleb's conduct and his negligence of the affairs of the neighborhood. Mariam consults a psychiatrist.

Hassan and Abu Taleb are mad when the case gets closed. Following Lam'at's plan, Esmat visits Abu Taleb to ask for his daughter Saleha's hand in marriage for her son Sherif.

When Mohamed tells Hassan he met Fawaz who works for the Agha, Hassan starts looking into it. Umm Abdo accepts to marry Abu Yahia.

It is revealed that Nasry is the son of Murad Agha. Hassan travels to Beirut to look for Fawaz.

The Agha tries to rape Aziza, but when she resists him and runs away, he files a report accusing her of stealing his gold and has her father tortured. Aziza begs Abu Al-Haiba to help out of her crisis.

Hamza rejoices when he sees Aziza at Abu Al-Haiba's, and he tries to know her story. Umm Mar'ie is overjoyed to learn that she's pregnant.

Lam'at entertains doubts that Murad has done something unpleasant. Hamza asks Abu Al-Haiba to wed him to Aziza, but he refuses. Hassan searches for Fawaz.

Fawaz returns to the neighborhood. Saleha gets engaged. In light of the police's search for Aziza, Hamza grows suspicious of her, but Abu Al-Haiba affirms that she's innocent. Mariam grows suspicious of Aziza.

Umm Mari'e tells her husband that her pregnancy is an ectopic pregnancy. Aziza asks Hamza to help her father. Umm Nasry lies to her son by telling him that the Agha killed his father.

Saleha gets married, and Sherif devises a plot to defame her and claims that she is not a virgin. Hamza frees Aziza's father.

Abu Taleb affirms that his daughter's honor is above suspicion and Sherif's claims are merely lies. As Abu Taleb learns that Murad Agha is his real enemy, he vows revenge, but Murad commits suicide. Talal rejoices when he learns that Mal Al-Sham is pregnant.
