Vaudeville duo Jo Hayden and Harry Palmer face trouble as Palmer is drafted into the army during WWI, so Palmer decides to hurt his hand to avoid being called to duty, whereupon Hayden considers his action cowardly and breaks up the duo. Now, Palmer needs to find a way to patch things up with him.
