Time-traveling conman Rip Hunter must recruit a team of heroes and villains to help prevent a catastrophe that could affect not just Earth, but time in the entire universe.

In an exciting confrontation, the team encounters the immortal villain Vandal Savage, who senses the presence of Hawkman and Hawkgirl, and a violent battle ensues in which Ray loses a vital part of his suit, threatening to alter the course of the future.

In an attempt to break Savage's power, Rip and Sara infiltrate his bank to strike at his sources of funding, while Snart and Rory take advantage and return to the city to carry out a new operation.

Dr. Stein uncovers Savage's diabolical scheme that threatens to destroy the universe, and the team races against time to prevent Savage from unleashing a devastating force capable of changing the fate of everything.

The team members find themselves prisoners in a Russian concentration camp during the Cold War. With danger looming on all sides, Captain Cold plans a daring escape to save the team, while Rip devises a side plan that threatens to derail the original mission.

In a new time adventure, the team loses Ray, Sara, and Kendra in the 1950s when the Waverider time ship accidentally launches, leaving them alone in a strange time.

The team members face a difficult moral crisis when they discover that determining the future of the universe depends on the decision to kill Savage's future ally. Will they choose to save the world at the expense of the life of an innocent?

In the Wild West, the team teams up with the legendary Jonah Hex to confront a looming new threat, but can you trust someone with a gun faster than a shadow?

A professional assassin plans to erase the legends of time from existence when he decides to kill the heroes while they are still young, before they become powerful, in an attempt to change the course of history forever.

Rip takes the team to London in 2166, just three days before his family is killed. He believes this is the last chance to eliminate Savage, who is at the peak of his power.

After numerous attempts across time, the team finally manages to capture the immortal villain Vandal Savage. However, Savage makes Kendra an offer to reunite her with her lover, Carter, which makes her reluctant to kill him.

Rip and Rory are deeply concerned for two different reasons, as they become close to the Time Lords, Sara takes command of the time ship, and Kendra meets up with Carter again.

After many sacrifices the team has made since the beginning of the journey, Rip decides that it is time for each of them to decide their fate, and returns them to their city a few months after their first departure.
