Rukia keeps from her family the truth about her illness. Hisham works with Khidr in cooperation with Selim. When Badr exposes him, he flees the country. Mariam decides to travel to perform Gamila's operation and marry Medhat.
Hisham refuses to flee. As Nahla dies, Hisham hands Badr to the police in retaliation for betraying him. Mariam tells Galal about her decision to remarry. Rukia collapses after Fatma's divorce and Nagwa's attempt to escape from the house. Mortada and Badria's marriage falls apart.
Galal and Rukia are engaged. Hisham hands Khidr to the police. Hisham reconciles with Mariam, and they get assassinated by gunmen. Magdy announces that he is joining an extremist group, and he attacks his neighbors' shops.
