Sheikh Rehan wakes up and prays the Fajr prayer with his wife, his son Reda, and his daughter Sukar. Zainab wakes up and finds Saadia watering the plants, and they have breakfast with Abu Dhafer, his wife, and his kids. After Abu Shawkat has breakfast with his wife and daughter, he goes to sell brooms.

Umm Shawkat is annoyed by the return of Abu Shawkat because he met a customer who wants to buy a broom next year, and another who wants him to deliver the broom to a far place, so he cleans the lamps and removes the pillowcase. Samiha and her daughter Fariza go to Umm Reda to take the clothes she made.

Umm Shawkat tells Umm Reda that Ansaf came to her and she quarreled with her husband, who almost divorced her, and now she has to sleep outside her house for 3 days. Abu Reda teaches his son how to give lessons. Abu Dhafer asks Dhafer to store bags of wheat to sell them later at a high price.

Abu Dhafer is angry because he wants Zainab to call him "Dad." Abu Reda pushes Abu Saado to give his students a shave, while Abu Dhafer sends his son to search for Abu Saado. As Abu Shawkat returns without having a shave, Umm Shawkat asks him to go back and search for Abu Saado to give him a shave.

Abu Reda learns from his wife about Ansaf's problem, so he asks her to make her come in order to talk to her and find a solution for her. When she comes, he asks her to go to her husband's house and that he will follow her and talk to him, but she starts having labor pains while he talks to her.

Ansaf gives birth, and Reda goes to bring her husband Setif, who is overjoyed, then Rehan patches things up between him and Ansaf. Abu Watfa comes with camel milk and gives it to Reda, who tells him that his father is not present, which annoys Abu Watfa, who promises him to tell his father what he did.

As Rehan reproaches his son, Reda, for not receiving Abu Watfa, he makes him apologize and makes a banquet in his honor. Abu Dhafer gives money to the soldier so that Dhafer doesn't do his military service. Rehan sits with the mukhtar to solve the problem of Abu Saado and his brother.

Rehan brings Abu Salim to reconcile him and his brother Abu Saado, and when he refuses, he makes Reda say that Abu Saado was killed, upon which he decides to avenge him, but when he finds him, they reconcile. Abu Dhafer is upset that his wife told Dhafer that he is to do his military service.

Dhafer is annoyed by sitting in the house, so Abu Dhafer calms him down and tells him it's the only solution. Reda disappears, and as Rehan, Umm Reda, and Sukar look for him, they find him sleeping on the rooftop. The soldier gives Abu Dhafer a paper, and it seems that he replaced Dhafer with someone else.

Sheikh Rehan helps his daughter and his wife make the beans he'll offer to his students. Sukar brings Umm Shawkat to help them and take some of it, and when she goes back, she finds Inaya having breakfast with Somaya, so they are happy that she has beans. Dhafer refuses to go out to buy tomatoes.

Rehan leaves the students with Reda and asks him to give them the lesson because he is going to visit a sick person, so Reda beats them, and when he leaves them and goes up to take food from Umm Shawkat, the students tell Rehan what Reda did to them, whereupon he scolds and beats him.

Umm Shawkat suggests to her husband that he work with Rehan's band. Abu Dhafer tells his wife that he paid money so that Dhafer wouldn't be taken to do his military service. Umm Dhafer brings Umm Jamil to Umm Reda's house to see Sukar to wed her to Jamil. Abu Shawkat sells all the brooms to a foreign man.

Reda and his mother are sad that Umm Jamil arrived to betroth Sukar to Jamil, while Sukar tells Rehan to inform Umm Jamil that she'll say yes if Reda marries first. Umm Dhafer and Abu Dhafer look for a solution to the problem of Dhafer staying at home and the timing of his exit from the room.

Reda fails to carry the bag of wheat, which is the test that Rehan set to know whether Reda can marry now or not, then Rehan trains with his band consisting of Abu Saado, Abu Salim, Fadl, and Reda. Zainab, Fariza, and Saadia continue to be distressed by the requests of Dhafer, who is staying at home.

Reda manages to hit a thief, and when he wants to turn him in to the police, Rehan refuses after he found that he has stolen only bread and olives. The thief tells Rehan that he stole to feed his mother and sisters because they haven't had food for a week, so Rehan reprimands him for not telling him.

Reda tells Inaya that Rehan wants her not to tell anyone about the thief, then he brings Abu Saado to treat the thief and sends Reda with food and many things to the thief's house. Umm Shawkat beats her daughter Inaya for leaving the food on the stove, which may have caused the house to burn down.

Rehan tells his wife and daughter that the neighbor's son stole to feed his mother and sisters, then he asks them to find out who needs food from the neighbors to emulate Prophet Muhammad, while Abu Dhafer does not give to those who come to his house or shop asking for food.

Rehan entrusts the mukhtar, Fadl, Abu Salim, and Abu Saado with taking care of the neighbors and giving them food and drink because their neighbors are in need and also in emulation of Prophet Muhammad. Dhafer's nightmare continues, while Saadia reprimands him for not helping the poor.

As Rehan finds his son Reda carrying a bag of wheat, it turns out that it contains burlap. Ansaf continues to stay with Umm Shawkat despite Abu Shawkat's attempt to mend fences between her and Setif. Rahan teaches Wajdi how to sing, while Reda gets into a problem as he forgot where his friend's money is.

Sukar tells Rehan that her brother borrowed from a friend of his, but Reda explains the truth to Rehan that his friend only put the money with him. Umm Shawkat is upset that Abu Shawkat didn't eat the food that she'd been preparing all day. Reda falls down the stairs and breaks his leg, so Inaya is sad.

Abu Mahfouz makes a splint for Reda's leg. Abu Dhafer sends two of his workers to bring him Abu Saado. The soldier tells Abu Dhafer that the person whom he put his name instead of Dhafer joined the army, so Abu Dhafer tells his son that he could go out. Setif patches things up with Ansaf.

After Abu Shawkat goes to Abu Dhafer to have Abu Saado give them a shave, a dispute arises between them over who gets it first, while Saadia, Zainab, and Fariza are happy that Dhafer goes out. Rehan tells Walid that he and his band will perform in another wedding on the same day as his brother's.

Rehan advises his daughter Sukar to wear perfume only for her husband. Samiha hits Saadia when she sees her giving food to a poor woman as she thought she had stolen food from the house. Rehan asks Inaya to prepare food for Abu Mahfouz because Umm Reda and Sukar are outside the house.

Reda thanks Abu Mahfouz for treating his foot. Samiha locks Saadia in one of the rooms, while Zainab is prevented from giving her food. Abu Shawkat and Abu Saado go to Abu Dhafer's shop to give them a shave, but a quarrel breaks out between Abu Shawkat and Abu Dhafer.

As Rehan, the mukhtar, and Abu Fadl intervene to solve the problem between Abu Shawkat and Abu Dhafer, Abu Shawkat accuses him of monopolizing food, whereupon Abu Dhafer derides him for being nothing but a broom seller, and he reprimands Dhafer for entering while Saadia isn't wearing her headscarf.

Samiha hits Saadia because she claimed she's a liar in front of Sukar and her mother, who defend her, while Sukar learns from Saadia that she prevents her from eating or drinking, so she asks her that she stay in Rehan's house, and Sukar refuses to let Saadia go; meanwhile, Umm Jamil watches everything.

Sukar and her mother refuse to make Saadia return home with Dhafer. Rehan promises Saadia not to make Abu Dhafer take her to his house, especially when he learns about the bad treatment she was subjected to, which makes him defend her in front of the mukhtar, Fadl, Abu Saado, and Abu Shawkat.

Abu Dhafer is forced to leave Saadia with Rehan after what he said about the bad treatment and about Dhafer seeing her hair. Rehan asks his wife to treat Saadia like Sukar. Inaya wonders whether Reda loves her or not and is worried that if Saadia stays at Rehan's house, Reda may love her.

Umm Sobhi draws Umm Reda’s attention to wed Saadia to Reda, and it seems that this is Samiha’s plan, and while Reda and Saadia agree, Inayat is sad when she hears the ululations. Abu Dhafer says to Zainab that there is a good person who asked for her hand in marriage from him.

Reda tells Inayat that he loves her and that she is more beautiful, but he has agreed to marry Saadia to save her from the injustice she feels. Rehan brings Wajdi to wed to Inayat. Abu Dhafer refuses to let Samiha go to Saadia's wedding so as not to spoil it. Reda and Saadia's wedding takes place.
