Marwan is threatened by a masked man as Nader threatens him about a piece of land. One of his employees advises him to try and obtain some evidence of the threats. Salma refuses to speak to Laila, who wishes to wed. Marwan is shocked when he learns that Laila has passed away.

It's revealed that Salma is an addict and that she has a brain bleed. A flashback reveals Nader telling Marwan that he can either get rid of Hesham or resign and pay off the loan. Marwan recounts what happened to Laila.

A flashback reveals that Laila told her psychiatrist that she discovered that her daughter Salma is stealing from her. Nader gifts Marwan a villa after the latter agrees to his request. Hesham tells Marwan that Radwa is pursuing IVF.

Marwan is surprised when Nader nominates him for the Ministry of Housing. Marwan blackmails Somaya with a scandalous video. A flashback shows Nader firing Hesham after he stole an important document. Radwa suspects that Hesham is cheating on her. Both events were orchestrated by Marwan.

Marwan sabotages Nader when he uploads a recording of a sexual call between Nader and Somaya. In a flashback, Hesham has a stroke. Marwan lies to Laila and tells her that Nader fired Hesham because he betrayed them.

Marwan moves Salma to another hospital. The attorney general orders Nader to be investigated. In a flashback, Hesham wakes up. Nader instructs Marwan on how to handle his new position in the company.

After the masked man asks Marwan to write the land over to him, he asks Jumana for the file on Ashraf Al-Souly. In a flashback, Laila tells her psychiatrist that she discovered that Salma is an addict. Radwa learns that Marwan betrayed Hesham.

Marwan learns that he has a traitor in his office. Jumana interviews Somaya who says the call with Nader is a fake and that Marwan forced her to report that Nader harassed her. In a flashback, Laila loses her family because of what Marwan did to Hesham.

When Somaya asks Nader for protection from Marwan, Nader asks her to change her testimony. Nader is released from prison. In a flashback, Nader asks Marwan to fire half of their employees.

It's revealed that Nader is the one who had Jumana interview Somaya. Hesham asks Sally to disclose the employee's salaries after Marwan fires her, which appears to be a plot. In a flashback, Hesham learns about Hamada's threat to Marwan.

Marwan and Sally survive a shooting. Laila apologizes to Radwa and Hesham. Marwan gets a call from the masked man, who threatens to have him fired if he doesn't seize the land from Ashraf in 48 hours.

Hesham questions Hamada on why he is threatening Marwan. After Marwan asks Fathy to make a decision regarding Ashraf's land, Fathy decides to have a bridge run through it. In a flashback, Bassant gets Laila to start working and change herself.

Hesham learns that Nader owns Ashraf's company. Nader offers to have Hesham manage the company to compete with Marwan. Marwan learns that Sayed is spying on him for Hesham.

Marwan passes out when he learns that Salma is close to being brain dead. Marwan recalls what Salma said about Jumana. Nader confronts Bassant about her cheating.

When Salma wakes up, Marwan learns that her accident was premeditated. Hesham tells Nader that he and Bassant didn't have an affair. Marwan launches an investigation into the virus that inflicted the company's system.

Salma is arrested. Shahenda refuses to drop the charges against Salma. Hesham threatens to have Salma imprisoned if Marwan doesn't give up the land.

Marwan confirms that Jumana has betrayed him and told Nader everything. The masked man threatens Marwan to have Salma imprisoned. Salma is questioned after she wakes up.

When Salma disappears, the prosecutor questions Laila in Marwan's presence. Marwan hides that he is the one who helped Salma escape and hid her in his family home. Marwan threatens to kill Jumana and Nader if Salma doesn't return. The masked man agrees to protect Marwan.

Jumana tells Nader of what Marwan did to her. Marwan learns that Osama and Samah are informing on him to Nader. Marwan confronts Nader about the information he has about the Nile Company and how he wired money to his son.

Nader thinks about killing Marwan. When Marwan agrees with Ashraf to buy the land, the masked man asks Marwan for all of Nader's and the Nile Company's money. Hamada learns that Marwan killed his father in a car accident.

Bassant and Nader suspect that Sally is behind the hacking of Ashraf's laptop. Nader grooms his son Amr to become CEO of the Nile Company. Radwa visits Marwan's family home to confirm that Salma is there. Marwan tries to flee but Hamada gets in his way.

After Marwan gives Hamada a check with one million pounds so that he wouldn't kill him, he discovers that the check is fake. The police raid Marwan's family home but they don't find Salma. In an interview, Nader claims that Marwan kidnapped Salma.

Marwan threatens Dina to keep silent. Marwan agrees to pay a million pounds to have Salma smuggled on a boat out of the country. Nader learns from the guy who has been monitoring Marwan that he might be in the Red Sea.

Marwan learns that Abu Saliba's land used to belong to the masked man. The masked man threatens to kill everyone Marwan knows if he doesn't triumph over Nader. Salma recalls the accident.

Deeb drugs Dina, Laila, and Salma but lies to Nader and claims that he didn't find them. Deeb asks Marwan for 4 million pounds and asks for the same sum of money from Nader. Hesham delivers the money to take Salma, but the police arrive.

It's revealed that Marwan set Deeb up to have him kidnap Salma so that he could implicate Nader and Hesham in the kidnapping. Laila refuses to go back to Marwan. Salma recalls a lot of details about the accident. Laila learns that Hamada is Salma's dealer.

Laila learns that Ramy is upset with Salma because Hamada harassed her. The public funds police raid Nader's company after Marwan reports him. Marwan is shot in the hand.

Hesham is released from prison. After Marwan comes out of surgery, he accuses Hamada of shooting him. Bassant meets the masked man who gives her a choice between Nader and her children. She agrees to turn on Nader in exchange for seeing his face and having Amr as the owner of the Nile Company.

After Salma tells the judge that she found Marwan alone at home on the day of the accident, she recalls that Hesham is the one who cut off the brakes after he blackmailed her. Hesham also threatened her after she refused to give him data from Marwan's laptop.

Marwan tells the judge that the cameras can prove that Hesham visited Salma. Salama is given a suspended sentence of one year. Marwan raises his gun on Hesham but Radwa begs him not to kill him. The masked man refuses to let Marwan quit and gives him some time off.

Marwan gathers his things and tells the employees that he is going to quit. Hamada is arrested. Amr travels and Nader learns that Bassant sold her share in the company to the big boss. The masked man kidnaps Marwan after he refuses to obey his orders, and takes off his mask.

Laila and Salma report Marwan missing and accuse Nader of being behind it. Nader kills himself after Bassant and his children leave him. The police locate Marwan, who wakes up in the desert. As he passes out again, he wakes up at the hospital with his family present.
