Shafiqa proposes to Zidane and Nabiha to marry in secret for fear of her brothers Hamed and Reda. Nabiha's father transfers ownership of the land to his daughter to guarantee her right to his inheritance after his death, and asks mayor Abdel Samad to hand over the land to her if she does not get married.
Zidane divorces Nabiha upon her request so that she can obtain her inheritance from her father. Shafiqa's father hands over to Zidane a large plot of land as a reward for him, so Nabiha seeks to mend things between her and Zidane, who refuses to do so.
Nabiha tries once again to communicate with Zidane to convince him to return to her. Shafiqa's father tells Zidane of Shafiqa’s love for him. Hamed and Reda decide to file a lawsuit against the mayor to prove their right to their father’s land.
Nabiha, dressed in black, shoots Zidane on the night of his wedding to Shafiqa. He and Shafiqa's father are injured and taken to the hospital. Nabiha tells the mayor that she is pregnant by Zidane.
Shafiqa's father dies in the hospital, and the police question Hamed and accuse him of shooting Zidane and Shafiqa's father. The mayor, Abdel Samad, informs his children of Nabiha’s right to the land.
Hamed and Reda are imprisoned. After she secretly gives birth, Nabiha leaves her baby at the door of the mosque, after which Abdul Mawjoud and his wife Sakina take her. Zidane returns with Shafiqa from abroad after a long medical trip.
Years pass and Shafiqa gives birth to Ahmed. Hamed escapes from prison and is arrested by the police before he attempts to kill Nabiha. Karima, Nabiha’s daughter, becomes a pharmacist and is accused of causing the murder of a child. The prosecutor, Ahmed, takes over the case.
Karima collapses and is taken to the hospital. Investigations continue, and Nabiha appoints a lawyer to defend Karima, unaware that the latter is the sister of the prosecutor Ahmed. Hatem likes Karima.
Nabiha discovers that Ahmed is Zidane's son. Reda kills Nabiha after his release from prison, and Ahmed investigates the circumstances of the crime.
Ahmed falls in love with Karima and tries to prove her innocence, and Zidane discovers that Karima is his daughter from Nabiha.
Zidane scolds his son for wanting to marry Karima; Ahmed breaks off his engagement to Sherine; Abdel Jawad suspects Reda of killing Nabiha.
Zidane reveals to Abdel Jawad that Karima is Ahmed's sister in order to prevent their marriage. Zidane confesses that he killed Nabiha.
