Lam'i is a resident of a local area who is trying to evade his neighbor Samia and her designs on him. Lam'i enters a wrestling match in order to help his friend Alaa who claims that his mother is in trouble and needs money. He is forced to fight a giant wrestler.
Alaa confesses that he deceived Lam'i. Officer Hesham's mother tries to find him a suitable bride but he doesn't want to get married. The giant wrestler that Lam'i defeated asks for a rematch that Lam'i agrees to.
Lam'i is treated as a doctor in his neighborhood because he works at a pharmacy and helps his neighborhood's people when they can't afford medicine. As the pharmacy's manager tries to get him in trouble, Samia continues to pursue Lam'i. Alaa informs Lam'i that Adel Shamroukh is trying to kill him.
As his gang kidnaps 5 children, Makhioun drops a phone that the teacher uses to send a warning text to the school principal. The phone turns out to belong to Lam'i who is accused of the crime. Makhiun tries to find Lam'i before the cops do.
Makhioun drugs and kidnaps Lam'i. Hesham is put in charge of the investigation and meets the children's parents. The school bus with the kidnapped children arrives at a deserted farm where they are locked in a room with Lam'i locked in another.
As Lam'i tries to find out where he is, Makhioun plots to involve him in his crime. When one of the kidnapped children faints, the gang brings Lam'i in to help her. Lam'i is shocked to learn that it's Makhioun who took him and refuses to help till he knows what's going on.
After he revives Khadija, Lam'i manages to escape after he puts sleeping pills in the gang's tea. As the gang finds him, Lam'i is locked in with the children.
As the children tell Lam'i what happened, he starts playing with them but the gang take photos that make it look as if he is torturing them. Makhioun orders Lam'i to call the children's families and demand a 5 million dollars ransom. When Lam'i refuses, Makhioun threatens to kill him.
Lam'i confides in the children and their caretaker who advises him to comply to the gang's demands to buy time. The gang sends the doctored photos they took of Lam'i to Mazen's grandmother ,Wedad, and ask for a ransom.
Lam'i is attracted to Mofida as Hesham grows close to Malak. Lam'i tells Makhious that he will do as he says in exchange for a share of the ransom money. Hesham gets his assistant to watch Mahmoud, the father of one of the kidnapped children, whom he is suspicious of.
Lam'i confesses his feelings for Mofida. As Makhioun gets Lam'i to call one of the kidnapped children's father to demand ransom and tell him the time of payment. It's revealed that the deadline for the ransom is a hoax.
As Lam'i gets some toys for the children to ease their boredom, he manages to convince the gang to let them play outside the room. Alaa checks on Lam'i's mother. The families of the kidnapped children try to gather the ransom money.
As Lam'i tries to save Mofida from Soror's attack, the children try to help until Soror injures Zain. The children's families meet to figure out how much money they still have to get. Lam'i plots with Mofida and the children to escape the farm.
When Lam'i asks for the children's help to escape, they decide on starting a fire as a diversion. When Walid asks his father-in-law for money to complete the ransom, the latter tells him to sell some of his property.
As Lam'i and the children enact their escape plan, the gang pursues them till they catch the children and Mofida. Lam'i manages to escape.
As members of the police checkpoint are busy chasing Soror, Lam'i hides in a car loaded with vegetables. Makhioun transports the children and Mofida to his wife's house. When Lam'i goes to check on his mother and brother, the neighborhood learn that he is back and the police is tipped off.
Lam'i visits Farhada to get information about Makhioun. Hesham questions Lam'i's mother. Makhioun lies to his wife Fifi and tells her that the children are his guests.
When Lam'i can't get any useful information from Farhada, he recalls the Upper Egyptian man who helped him before and decides to seek him out. The children tell Fifi that Makhioun kidnapped them.
Lam'i dresses up as a blind Sheikh to go to Aswan. When Hesham listens in on a phone call between Lam'i and his brother, he deduces that he is on his way to Qena. Lam'i manages to evade capture and hides with a local man.
As Lam'i starts making his way to Aswan, someone sees him at a mosque and alerts the police. Lam'i escapes on a truck with Tito. Lam'i's mother is released, as are Alaa and Farhada.
Hesham starts to suspect that Lam'i is innocent. As Hesham and Saeid head to Aswan, Lam'i arrives in Awan to look for Haragy.
As Lam'i reaches Haragy, Haragy's grandfather dies. Haragy and Lam'i clash over the former's desire to have a wedding party as his grandfather instructed before his death.
The children's families rush to gather the ransom money before time runs out. Lam'i tries to get Makhioun's number off Haragy's wife's phone.
Khalil attacks Lam'i and demands his share of the ransom money. He locks Haragy and Lam'i up as the cops prepare to attack the place to arrest Lam'i.
Hesham reconsiders arresting Lam'i who is under Khalil's protection. One of the children tries to contact his father over the phone.
When Walid informs Makhioun that his son called him, the latter confronts Fifi and locks her in her room. Hesham is shot during a confrontation in Upper Egypt and Lam'i tries to save him.
With only 30 thousand dollars short before the ransom is complete, Lam'i and his friend try to find Makhioun.
Lam'i dresses up as a cop to get Makhioun's wife to come with him. Makhioun tries to get Lam'i to give his wife back. Hesham discovers that Walid has a secret cell phone number.
Makhious reveals to Lam'i the identity of the mastermind behind the kidnapping in an attempt to get his wife back. The cops raid Walid's house.
Walid confesses to plotting with Makhioun to kidnap the children to get 4 million dollars. Lam'i plans to catch Makhioun and his men and turn them in to the police.
