Lail Abdul Salam releases Dr. Menna, the daughter of Al-Khushen, from captivity. The businessman Ibrahim asks Lail to help a woman get rid of a person who blackmails her. Lail helps his sister after getting involved in a car accident; he takes her home to celebrate his daughter Farida's birthday.
Lail discovers that he has epilepsy. As he's doing a job to kill a carpet merchant, Lail falls unconscious and the merchant discovers that he looks like his late son. Montaser turns to Master Sha'aban to help him return the money that his partner seized. Sha'aban burns the carpet merchant's house.
Lail learns that Sha'aban burned down the carpet merchant's house on the order of Nariman. Lail tells Ibrahim that he's decided to quit his criminal work. Layla falsely alleges that the club manager harassed her. Sha'aban is arrested, and Lail's daughter disappears after a break-in at his house.
Lail's sister, Nariman, suspects that the businessman Daniel is behind Farida's kidnapping, since Lail previously killed his brother. An unknown man asks Lail for a 4 million pounds ransom, and he finds out that Sha'aban and Ghandour are behind it.
Lail is looking for Sha'aban who is nowhere to be found. Camellia throws her daughter out of the house and she's forced to stay at her friend Nevin's house; Lail asks her to inform him in case Sha'aban shows up.
Sha'aban tells Lail that Namrod is behind his wife and daughter's kidnapping. Nariman asks Sha'aban to kill Namrod on Lail's request. Camellia tries to entrap Mr. Ra'ouf and asks him to come to her house.
Lail breaks into the villa of Ibrahim Al-Gayar's wife but he loses consciousness as a result of his epileptic seizure. Nariman and her ex-husband are kidnapped. Layla tries to escape from Sha'aban after she snitched on him. Kariman asks Mr. Ra'ouf to marry her.
Ibrahim's wife beats Lail and leaves him outside and he tries to contact his sister. Sha'aban asks Hassiba to teach Layla a harsh lesson for betraying him. As the police are looking for Lail's wife, they find a dead body in the garden of the villa.
Sha'aban's men attack Lail but he defeats them. He decides to turn himself in after being accused of the murder of his wife and daughter. Engy's parents reveal that the body that was found in the garden is not their daughter's. Lail finds his brother-in-law, Ramy, stealing the gold.
Lail decides to take revenge on Ramy after stealing the gold and succeeds in returning it again. Camellia asks Hassiba to force Mr. Ashraf to marry her. Lail avenges Abdul Hamid, who committed suicide. Lail is surprised by a call from his wife Engy and Nabila Tantawy.
Lail goes to Nabila's villa, and an altercation occurs between him and his wife, Engy, and she asks for a divorce. Lail finds out that his daughter is with Layla. After Sha'aban discovers that Sawsan stole a large sum of money, he asks Hassiba to help him find her.
Lail's daughter dies in a tragic accident after a pursuit by Sha'aban's henchman; Layla is accused of kidnapping and killing her. Camellia marries Ashraf and they move in together. Sha'aban discovers that Sawsan is under Master Tota's protection and agrees with Ibrahim to take Lail's place.
Lail holds his daughter's funeral. Layla is accused of killing Farida. Sha'aban works for Ibrahim. Kariman agrees with Baher's wife to go to Ibrahim's villa and assault him; she gets arrested on charges of attempting to kill him.
Engy asks Kariman to take revenge on Lail and get rid of his sister, Nariman. At the hospital, Ibrahim regains consciousness and asks Baher to divorce his wife. Ashraf's wife finds out about his new marriage. Tota agrees to help Engy get rid of Nariman.
An officer agrees with a journalist to publish the case of Ibrahim Al-Gayar in the press, and when his secretary finds out about this, she agrees with someone to kill him. Layla is released. Nariman agrees with Ibrahim to continue Lail's work with him.
Nariman agrees with Sahiony to kill Engy; she stays with Nabila after her parents tried to take her to a psychiatrist. Tariq's wife is transferred to the hospital after she's beaten. Lail heads to Ibrahim's secretary's house to finalize everything with her.
Lail releases Layla from captivity after her mother Camellia asked him to help her. Tariq asks the father of his ex-wife to force her to return home and leave the villa of Ibrahim, but her father refuses. Lail asks Dina to stay away from the journalist Baher.
Lail suffers another seizure after taking Layla to her house and she asks her neighbour to help him and get a doctor. Ibrahim asks Sha'aban to get rid of Lail. Tariq's ex-wife asks Ibrahim to throw her ex-husband out of the villa. Lail helps a woman whose son is kidnapped.
Camellia is able to kidnap Ashraf's wife and forces her to return to her home. Lail returns the son of Layla's neighbour to her. When Sha'aban finds out about his sister Hassiba's relationship with Mishy, he asks Sahiony to kill him.
Nabila agrees with Tariq to sell his share in the security company to her. Kariman tries to agree with someone to kill Ibrahim. Layla turns to Lail to protect her from her ex-fiancé, Rustom. Ashraf divorces Camellia. Kariman's ex-husband kidnaps Lail's ex-wife from the hospital.
Lail threatens Khairy Rustom after he seized Layla's money. Ibrahim warns Sha'aban not to go behind his back, and tells him that Dina has become his partner. Lail knows that Ramy has kidnapped Engy. Sha'aban kidnaps Lail.
The secretary Dina agrees with Sha'aban to set Lail up by framing him for Ramy's murder. When Lail falls unconscious after an epileptic seizure, Nabila asks the thief Tity to take Lail away from the scene of the crime, but Sha'aban tries to stop him.
Lail stays with his old friend Al-Khushen until he proves his innocence, but his cousin Nagy, who wants to marry his daughter Menna, objects. Ibrahim's friend asks Sha'aban to cooperate with her on a task.
Sahiony kills Sha'aban and escapes. Ibrahim learns that Baher exposed him in a TV program. Nabila asks Tity to find Lail before Ibrahim gets to him first.
Al-Gayar asks Dina to get rid of Lail as soon as possible. Karima tells Ashraf that she's pregnant. A flashback reveals why Nabila Al-Gayar hates Lail. Nariman finds out that Sha'aban stole Lail's gold.
Nariman asks for Lail's help, and Sha'aban sets the house on fire. Ashraf decides to take Camellia back. Al-Khushen discovers that his daughter is secretly in love with Malak, the son of Makram Al-Sayegh.
Baher rescues Nariman from the fire. Nabila asks Nariman to stay with Layla. Al-Khushen locks his daughter's colleague up when he finds out about his relationship with her.
Sectarian strife occurs among the people of the town after Malak the Christian is accused of having an affair with the Muslim daughter of Al-Khushen. The house of Malak is burned and the Christians are expelled from the town. Lail asks Sahiony to find Sha'aban. Nabila asks Lail to kill Ibrahim.
Sha'aban takes Nancy to the company, and Dina tells her that she'll help her kill Ibrahim. Lail arrives at Upper Egypt and confronts Nagy; he frees Malak and tells the townspeople that Malak is innocent. Tariq breaks into Ibrahim's villa and kills him with Nancy's help.
Nabila Tantawy is arrested. Camellia goes into labor, and Ashraf takes her to the hospital. As Sha'aban shoots Layla, Lail chases him, and Sha'aban falls from a building and is paralyzed. Lail dedicates himself to helping those in need.
