Si El Hadi is a hotel owner whose daughter is engaged to the engineer Anwar who works for him in the office. Anwar wants to move to the countryside where the new project is. Their friend Raqia comes from France to spend the holiday with them.
As Anwar learns that El Hadi will marry Raqia, he gets upset and tells Huda that he does not want to deal with her. El Hadi notices that Anwar exaggerates his hatred for Raqia, especially since Huda is very attached to her.
Anwar ends his relationship with Huda, but he is still working with her father. Amer tries to get close to Huda and invites her and Raqia for a picnic in his area; his fiancée is jealous over him. El Hadi meets an old friend and talks about the dam in the area.
Raqia asks Amer to get close to Huda so that she forgets Anwar, because she loves him and does not want him to be with anyone else. El Arousi returns to work in the tourist boat with El Hadi.
Raqia marries El Hadi. As Amer proposes to Huda, her father approves, even though he is a poor man. El Hadi's friend, Shaaban, distributes meat to the poor in the region and tries to reconcile between the two conflicting thrones.
Shaaban asks his son Amer to give Makhlouf a job in the tourist boat, while a fire breaks out in the cheese factory, and Huda grieves. Raqia tries to convince Huda to marry Amer, even though she does not love him.
As Shaaban miraculously survives the fire, Raqia visits him and asks him to come to ask Huda to marry his son Amer as soon as possible, as she's worried that she might leave him.
As Shaaban goes to ask for Huda's hand for his son, Raqia throws a small party at home in the capital, and she hires one of the village girls as a maid. The officer tells Shaaban that he arrested the man who burned the factory to take revenge on his father.
Upon Raqia's insistence, Amer marries Huda despite knowing that she doesn't love him and she still loves Anwar. Amer's ex-fiancée becomes ill as a result of hearing of his marriage.
As Raqia can no longer stand Amer, she leaves and goes to live in her house and takes her maid and Hafeez, the driver. As El Hadi does not want to reconcile with her, Huda asks her to come back with her. As Fadila becomes paralyzed and mentally unstable, her brother looks after her.
As Huda becomes pregnant, El Hadi tells Raqia about it and that he did not want to embarrass her because she did not get pregnant yet; he reconciles with her. Amer is glad because of the pregnancy, but he is not happy with Huda or work and wishes to return to Minyar.
As Amer meets Fadila at the hotel, El Hadi informs his daughter and asks her to leave him while she faints because of the news. As Shams becomes pregnant by Hafeez, her mother gets angry with her.
As Huda goes into labor, she calls Amer to come and take her to the hospital, but as he goes to her, he drowns in the lake; the police are investigating to discover the perpetrators.
Huda meets Fadila at Amer's grave and tells her that she loved him. Anwar comes to work again with El Hadi, and El Arousi is delighted with him, while Raqia is jealous. Shams becomes a dancer after her boyfriend abandons her.
The police discover that Amer's murderer is one of the enemies of his father Shaaban. El Hadi asks Anwar to marry his daughter Huda to get her out of her depression; Raqia goes crazy because of that. El Hadi completes his project in the region with Anwar's help.
