As Arousiya's son, Al-Hady, goes to the ranch and gets introduced to the woman living with his mother, his car breaks down on the road as he makes his way back to the capital.

Al-Hady falls ill as he returns to his house. Arousiya checks on the ranch and its workers. Lalhum's daughter is saddened by her forced marriage to Al-Faleh after her divorce from Arousiya's late son, Al-Monsef.

Aziz proposes to Kawthar. As Arousiya decides to visit her daughter in the capital, Aziz suffers from a nervous breakdown, leaving Arousiya to rush him to the hospital.

As Aziz is released from the hospital, Arousiya goes to visit her daughter, leaving Aziz with his aunt for the summer. Lilia finds mysterious pictures in Al-Monsef's room.

As Kawthar gets close to Lilia, the latter tries to convince Arousiya that she is a nanny, not a maid. Al-Zahy meets with Arousiya to discuss the photo gallery that Al-Monsef's friend is putting together.

Lilia adapts to living with Arousiya at the ranch and grows close to Aziz. When Aziz loses his temper with Lilia at his birthday party, Lilia leaves the ranch, only to discover that her friend, Mohy Al-Din is a fraud and a liar.

When Kawthar returns to the ranch, Aziz asks his mother to ask for her hand. Al-Mahdy helps Lilia take care of the ranch as she returns to the house. Aziz rebels against his grandmother out of a desire to take charge of the ranch's finances.

As Arousiya and Al-Zahy open the photo gallery, Arousiya grows angry when she notices the control Kawthr has on Aziz. Al-Mahdy and Lilia grow close.

Al-Zahy's spirits plummet after the photo gallery turns out to be a failure. Al-Mahdy proposes to Lilia. As Aziz's uncle refuses to let Aziz marry his daughter, Aziz beats Lilia.

As Zainab incites Aziz against Lilia and the ranch's workers, she goes into Al-Monsef's room and searches it. As Lilia decides to leave the ranch, Al-Mahdy discovers what happened to her.

When Al-Mahdy tells his family that he wants to marry Lilia, they oppose his request. As Lilia's friend tries to rob her, Lilia hits her and flees. Zainab discovers that Al-Zahy's sister is Al-Monsef's mistress and that Lilia is the latter's daughter. A shepherd saves Lilia after she tries to kill herself.

Aziz goes to the capital and asks to meet Zainab. Al-Mahdy looks for Lilia at her uncle's house. Al-Zahy tells his sister that he knew about her relationship with Al-Monsef.

Sherifa continues to help Lilia at the restaurant. Al-Mahdy reveals the truth about Hayat and Lilia, telling his family about the notebook that Zainab stole. Lilia leaves Sherifa after the restaurant owner and her husband harass her.

Rabeia files a lawsuit to prove that Aziz is insane and that Arousiya has squandered the properties. Lilia returns to Sherifa. When Arousiya's house burns down, she suffers a stroke.

Lilia's mother passes away. Rabeia loses the case as Arousiya and Al-Monsef get all the property. Zainab leaves Aziz when she discovers that he doesn't have any properties. Al-Zahy confesses to burning Arousiya's house.
