Mahrous claims to be the best fisherman in the forest, saying that he'll enter the fishing contest, yet he fails to get up early, even though Saadoun tried to wake him up. Mahrous waits till everyone is done, then goes to catch the best fish, presents it to the committee and wins the contest.

Mr. Fox steals grapes, but falls into a well, so Mrs. Fox seeks help from Nimrod and Mahrous, who get him out of the well. Mr. Fox pretends to be grateful to them and tries to get close to Mahrous, who acts like he’s stupid and doesn’t get his plan, only to expose him to the village’s inhabitants.

Zaatar, an ailing guest, arrives in the village, where the inhabitants receive him with the sage, who tells them that he is suffering from difficulty in breathing. They give him Mahrous’s bed, which angers Mahrous. When Zaatar recovers, he gives Mahrous a gift before leaving, and thanks everyone.

Bunny and her friends make tasty sweets and give them to Mahrous to sell in the forest. Mr. Fox then agrees with Mrs. Fox to steal them, which he does, after tying up Mahrous. As the old lady passes by, he ties her up too. Nimrod looks for Mahrous, unties him and goes to take revenge on the Foxes.

When Saadoun finds an urn, Mahrous tries to take it from him in exchange for sweets, but he refuses. The sage tells him to give it to the keeper of the forest as it might be an artifact. After a long search by everyone, it turns out to be an ordinary urn from the neighboring village.

When Samaan the musician visits the village, he enchants Bunny and all the inhabitants, who leave their work to listen to him, which angers the sage, who says they must go back to work to bring in food. Samaan leaves them filled with regret, while Mahrous brings them vegetables and fruits from the forest.

Mr. Sly ties Mahrous to a tree after getting all the information about the village’s inhabitants, then goes to them as a guest to rob them, whereupon they learn from the keeper of the forest that he is a dangerous criminal, but Mahrous manages to trick him and turn him over to the police.

Little Monkey returns from traveling only to find that her bag has been switched with another one containing jewels. When Mr. Fox learns about it, he tries to steal it, but Mahrous takes it to the keeper of the forest to find its owner and return Little Monkey's bag.

The sage tells everyone that they have to collect seeds to plant and fill the storeroom with supplies before winter comes, so all the inhabitants work to store food; meanwhile, some thieves try to raid the storeroom, which Mahrous manages to protect.

Mahrous takes a picture with Nimrod, who keeps it, which angers Mahrous, and he tries to retrieve it by any means. He looks for it in his closet, but doesn’t find it, as Nimrod dropped it, then Sahroura took it and hung it in her house, so both Mahrous and Nimrod go to her to retrieve it.

As Mahrous decides to become a painter and sell his paintings at a high price, he starts working on a painting to sell in the village, but he fails to finish it, and stops eating and talking to his friends, which alarms the sage.

Bunny and Saadoun are tired as they train to be actors. Mahrous goes to town and stays there a while. The sage misses him, then learns that he had lunch with his friend in a restaurant and didn’t have enough money, so the owner had him work there in lieu of payment, but Nimrod pays him and takes Mahrous.

Mahrous finds Worood lost in the forest, so he takes her to the village, which gladdens everyone. The sage rules that she be taken to the keeper of the forest to get her to her grandma, who’s looking for her. Mahrous takes her to the keeper, gets the reward, but doesn’t like it, then he's mocked by Nimrod.

Mahrous agrees with Sahroura to make a liquid from honey and water for him to sell as a tonic. Indeed, he sells the liquid to most of the village’s inhabitants, but it was useless and didn’t give energy, on the contrary, so Bogeyman and Mr. Bear jump him and demand their money back.

Saadoun breaks his piggy bank and counts the money he collected in order to buy some things to celebrate the New Year, as does Bunny and Mrs. Bear, while Mahrous doesn’t have money, so he sells firewood to Mr. Bear, who finds a gold coin inside it, which Mahrous takes.

Mrs. Bear makes a cake for Bunny’s birthday, but when Mahrous burns it, he decides to make a new one so they wouldn’t know. Everyone buys gifts to give to Bunny, on whose birthday all the invitees like the cake, so Mahrous tells them the truth.
