The cold war continues between Renata and Madeline. Abigail decides to move out of her mother's house. When Ziggy's school project stirs up some uncomfortable questions, Jane reveals the truth about Ziggy's father to Madeline.

Celeste agonizes over how to inform Perry of her wish to return to work. Madeline and Jane try to confront a man whom they believe is Jane's rapist. Ziggy talks to a psychologist who deduces that he might be getting bullied.

Renata discovers that Amabella is still being hurt at school. Madeline's old affair with Joseph threatens to be exposed after a car crash. Jane takes a gun to see her rapist.

Things reach the boiling point between Celeste and Perry. Madeline accidentally reveals her past affair. Renata tries to figure out a way to discover who is hurting Amabella.
