After her father has a stroke, a woman leaves her luxurious life in Los Angeles to come home to a big sugarcane estate in Louisiana. There, she reconnects with her estranged siblings and finds out unsettling information about her husband.

The siblings must work together to plan their father's funeral. In the meantime, tensions rise between Charley and Nova.
