Sa'ed goes to France to support Malika after she is disfigured in a terrorist attack. Malika recalls the wedding of the District Attorney's daughter. Baher Dowidar, Malika's uncle-in-law, is questioned due to his connection to companies that fund terrorism.

In a flashback, Aya questions Malika on her feelings for her fiancé Loay. A terrorist cell is arrested with a list of the wedding guests. A businesswoman triggers the bomb that Bashir has planted, minutes before the counter-terrorism forces arrive.

Malika's brother, Sherif, arrives at the hospital. A flashback shows the aftermath of the explosion. The authorities learn that Bashir has a terrorist for a brother. Sherif is told that two injured girls came in together and that one of them is dead and the other is disfigured.

The counter-terrorism forces continue to look for Bashir as they receive a threat of a new terrorist attack. Malika's father assures her mother that Malika will get better when she goes to Cairo. Malika recalls when she asked Sherif to propose to Aya.

Baher meets with a businesswoman to discuss a deal but he starts to suspect her involvement in the terrorist attack. Bashir regrets his role in the terrorist attack. Malika runs away from the hospital and tries to kill herself.

Malika tells Sa'ed that she is Aya, not Malika, but he tells her that Sherif identified her as Malika. Malika asks for a DNA test and leaves with her family to Cairo. Bashir's brother, Abbas, appears in Cairo.

Sherif's father refuses to run a DNA test for Malika. Malika asks Sherry about Eiad. Baher reports the businesswoman to the police and they discover that she is connected to Abbas. Loay visits Malika.

Bashir refuses to join Abbas for another terrorist attack and turns himself in. Eiad tells Sherif about his problems with Sherry. Hazem is questioned about his relationship with Helen, the suspect in the district attorney's murder.

Malika questions Eiad about his love for Aya and how he deceived Sherry. Sherry asks for a divorce. Bashir tells the officer information about the new terrorist attack.

Malika tells Sa'ed that she feels that she is Aya. Malika asks to see Aya's room. Bashir and Salem cooperate with the authorities to bring Abbas in. Loay gives up Helen's location to the cops.

Farida tells her husband that Malika is acting like Aya. Helen is questioned then released. Malika meets Hazem at Baher's company and questions him about Aya.

Sa'ed advises Malika's father and brother to run a DNA test. Malika's father threatens to ban her from visiting her aunt. Malika asks Sherry to forgive Aya.

Malika questions Farida about Aya's necklace. Helen asks Baher about the security plans for the Ministry of Interior. Sa'ed tells Malika that he will run a DNA test in secret and asks for a photo of Hazem.

Hamdy suspects Bashir and Salem. Malika's mother wants to run a DNA test on Malika. Malika fights with Sherif's friend Rola. Sa'ed tries to get to meet Hazem.

Sa'ed tells Malika that he thinks that she might be Aya. Helen threatens Loay. Bashir tells Aya that he was involved in the district attorney's murder.

Sa'ed prepares to run the DNA test. The terrorist cell exposes Bashir. Baher assures Helen that Hazem will provide them with information about the Ministry of Interior. Malika asks her aunt Farida to accompany her to run the DNA test.

Bassel decides to save Bashir. Hazem tells Malika that her behavior proves that she is Aya. Azza shoots Bassel. Abbas's men kidnap Bashir as Hamdy is arrested.

Malika tells Loay that she doesn't want to be with him. Bassel captures Abbas as the injured Bashir escapes. Malika decides to save Bashir.

Helen threatens to blow up Baher's house if he doesn't help her flee. Sa'ed tries to treat Bashir. Malika's mother is furious that Malika went to Sa'ed clinic behind her back. Sherif tells his mother that Malika broke off her engagement.

Baher tells Major General Farouk that he helped Helen escape because she threatened to blow up his house. Sherif promises to stand by Malika.

The ballistics unit arrives at Baher's place. Malika asks Bashir about the necklace and explains the reconstructive surgery she had in Paris. Magda confronts Sa'ed about the fact that he went to Malika's apartment.

Sa'ed fires Magda. Malika's father tries to get her to go to Vienna for treatment but she refuses and leaves the house. Bassel tells Bashir that Abbas has died and tries to trace the phone. Sa'ed tells Malika that he found Magda's body.

Sa'ed tells a detective that Malika asked him to hide Bashir. Hazem tries to convince Eiad to work with Baher. Bashir vanishes as Malika is questioned about her connection to Magda's death.

Sa'ed tells Malika that he saw Bashir killing Magda. Sherif fights with Malika when he sees her dancing with Sa'ed.

Bassel questions Malika about Bashir. Sa'ed informs Malika that the test results have arrived from London.

Bassel is admonished for questioning Malika without permission. When Farida asks Malika about the DNA test, Malika claims that Sa'ed didn't tell her anything. Malika apologizes to her father.

Sa'ed suggests for him and Malika to take a trip to think about the right time to announce her real identity. Malika refuses to have a DNA test when her mother asks her to. Officer Khairy disappears in the wake of Magda's murder.

Sa'ed tells Baher that Malika is actually Aya but Baher is unable to tell Farida. Eiad discovers that Akram is the one behind all operations. Baher admonishes Akram for killing innocents after the latter is arrested.

Malika is unable to understand how Akram let them go to the wedding. Bassel proves that Sa'ed has something to do with Khairy's disappearance. It's revealed that Sa'ed is keeping Bashir and Khairy hostage. He takes Malika hostage when she goes to see him.

Sa'ed commits suicide. Malika visits her aunt after the DNA test confirms that she is Malika. Malika's mother goes to pick up her clothes and finds Malika's diaries in which she reveals that she deceived them all.
