In the wake of the murder of a drug trafficker, detective Nancy Devlin finds herself in the unenviable position of being assigned to a case in which she has personal stakes, ones that she tries to hide from her team.

As Gunner grows suspicious of Nancy, the latter sinks deeper into the attempt to cover up her presence during the murder, causing her to spiral out of control as she becomes in desperate need for a friend.

Gunner's distrust of Nancy gets reciprocated when she suspects him of being a mole. Nancy finds herself in a perilous situation after she discovers the new identity of the mole.

The pressure mounts as Nancy works undercover to infiltrate Duncan's operation, only to be sent to the haulage yard, prompting a discovery that she is in danger due to leaving behind incriminating evidence at the crime scene.

Kevin leaks information to Duncan that leaves Nancy's life hanging in the balance. Nancy makes a discovery that connects her own mother to the missing truck.

Nancy connects the dots and realizes that the nature of the cargo Frank was killed for isn't what they thought it to be. Nash's attempt to impede her investigation raises Nancy's suspicion of his involvement in the murder.
