Azmi and his wife Ashgan are both swindlers who separately plan to rob a bank. However, they both conduct the operation on the same day, without intentionally planning so.
After they learn that they're literally partners in crime, and they both are swindlers, they decide to repent and burn the money they've stolen, but then their creditors start to claim their money.
Azmi and Ashgan are forced to sell their apartment's belongings to pay back their debts, but they find their new status unbearable since they've gotten used to earning easy money. They break their oath never to steal or swindle.
Azmi and Ashgan decide to join forces for the last operation to secure their lives. They target a villa and decide to impersonate as its owners and sell it. However, things go wrong when they receive some dangerous visitors.
Assuming they're the owners of the villa, the couple is kidnapped by a wicked gang whose leader orders them to formulate a drug. Luckily for the couple, a fire exchange occurs and the two gangs are murdered, leaving Azmi and Ashgan to return to the villa and resume their initial plan.
A new problem arises as Azmi and Ashgan run out of money and their son is being bullied in his government school, so they renounce their decision to repent and plan a new fraud targeting a prestigious school.
Azmi and Ashgan implement their plan and pretend to be a well-celebrated band that is going to throw a party at the school, but the couple has to face the music as it turns out that the headmistress is wife to an esteemed man in the Ministry of Interior.
After seeing Azmi and Ashgan disguised many times, Nevine, Emad's fiancée, starts to have doubts about them being swindlers, and the doubts magnify as Atta and Fifi open a Syrian food restaurant, but that doesn't dispirit Ashgan who's plotting a new scheme already.
Nevine confronts Azmi and Ashgan that she knows all about their swindling, and she bargains with them to give her a share from their next operation. The couple starts carrying out the operation with Atta's help.
Azmi and Ashgan start implementing their plot targeting the lady Ashgan met in a religious lesson, and they eventually manage to rob her of a hundred thousand dollars and a diamond necklace. The police officer is restlessly trying to track down the two frauds.
After Azmi's mother falls ill, the couple eventually succumbs to Nevine's temptations to follow a foul scheme of her own planning.
Following Nevine's plot, the couple are to steal the Poppy Flowers painting from Mokhtar Al-Jawhari, director of the Museum of Contemporary Art who stole the painting himself.
Azmi and Ashgan manage to steal the painting and Nevine guides them to the dealer who purchases such stolen paintings.
After receiving the five million dollars from selling the painting, Nevine advises the couple to consider performing money laundering to steer clear of suspicion, so Azmi opens a gym and Ashgan buys the beauty salon she once worked at.
Nevine comes up with a plan that will earn them heaps of money, but it necessitates they have the dog Moetamed whose specifications will cast doubts. Nevine withdraws and the operation is stopped, but Fifi suggests a new operation that will earn them more money.
For the new operation, the swindlers decide to deceive a Mayor into believing that Azmi is his long-lost son Darwish to inherit all of his legacy. The Mayor, however, stipulates that Azmi marries his cousin Bayra in order to get the money.
When the operation becomes such a magnificent success and the Mayor leaves all his properties to Azmi. The couple's life is turned upside down as they enjoy their new luxurious life.
Azmi and Ashgan move to a new compound where they are neighbors with Major General Mashehour and his wife Ashgar whom they previously defrauded. Nevine assures them that this is for their best interest because it will remove all doubts, and she suggests a new operation.
As Azmi is watching a football match, he comes up with an idea for their next fraud: they adopt an African student in the Islamic Research Academy and decide to sell him as a professional football player.
After Bayra heads to the police station to report on Azmi and Ashgan, Major Hossam reaches the conclusion that they are the same swindlers he has been searching for. Meanwhile, Azmi and Ashgan are resuming their schemes.
After Shimaa, Azmi's brother, returns from Saudi Arabia with her husband, Azmi learns that his mother married Ashgan's uncle, and it was Nevine who helped them with the wedding and swindled them out of 150.000 pounds. They decide to take revenge on her.
Nevine breaks up with Emad. Meanwhile, Tahseen is still wreaking havoc in Ashgan and Azmi's house, and officers Amhar and Hossam break into the house of Major General Mashehour, mistaking it for Azmi and Ashgan's.
Azmi and Ashgan start working on their new plot where they deceive an owner of a large tourist village into believing that she should buy a piece of land that has numerous precious relics buried in it.
Azmi and Ashgan resume their plans as they convince the owner of the tourist village that the land is full of treasures and that there are pharaonic maps that will guide them to their place.
Azmi and Ashgan's ploy is a success as they manage to swindle the lady out of 100 million dollars. The lady points an accusing finger at officer Amhar who facilitated things for the swindlers without realizing their true identities.
Azmi and Ashgan reduce Nevine's share from the operation, so she decides to expose their swindling and stir up discord between the two of them until they eventually decide to carry out their operations individually, but they are reunited over their son's illness.
Azmi and Ashgan feel so guilty that they decide to repent and give away all their money to the poor and charities. Meanwhile, Emad finds Nevine's cell phone that has all the gang's plots on it, and he decides to head to the police station to report them.
Azmi and Ashgan are caught and they later learn that it's not the police who caught them, but the businessman Hassan Al-Dongoli who wanted to recruit them for a fraud he has been planning for.
After the mission is completed, Azmi and Ashgan ask Hassan to give them the records of their confessions, but he refuses and urges them to leave the country in no more than a week.
Azmi and Ashgan make use of Hassan's paranoia to convince him that they've put poison in his drink, and they have the antidote. They urge him to follow their orders and give them the records. The couple is struggling to repent and resist their foul tendencies, but a new operation looms.
