| Farah | Kamla and her parents have just moved into a dilapidated building on the outskirts of Trieste, accompanied by other immigrant families and a retired old teacher who decides not to leave his house after all the residents have been notified of their evacuation. While the men act angrily at the threats of the landowner, the ladies seek to cooperate to save the fate of their families. A relationship between the young Kamla and the teacher (Leon) starts, while her mother reveals her talent for dancing just like Bollywood stars.
