Every month, women visit their loved ones who are inmates in a jail outside of Paris. Judith, Lola, Fatima, and her daughter Nora, as well as other ladies who are waiting uncomfortable in the summer heat of mid-August. Relationships are formed and destroyed, and tension increases as they pass through security checks. Eventually, a riot breaks out behind bars.
