At the beginning of the 1940's, Hamd's mother dies after an illness, and his father is advised to move to Al-Ahmadi with his family where business is predicted to thrive.
Hamd discovers that Sahima had died from being poisoned. His father suspects that Ghonam is responsible for her death, and he informs the police.
Hamd's father wants him to marry Hassa, but Hamd thinks of her as his sister. A murder convinces Hamd's father to move away with his family to Al-Ahmadi.
After a few years Hamd and Hassa are married, but he wants to marry another woman in order to conceive a child. Hassa refuses and asks for divorce, and he remarries and has four children.
Panic spreads among schools about the story of the "Red Palm". Hamd's two sons go to college, where one of them studies medicine, and the other leads a careless life.
Hamd does not treat his two wives, Hassa and Jalilah equally. He disrespects Hassa in his treatment and makes her cater to guests instead of Jalilah.
Hamd decides to apologize to Hadra. Seif tells his friend at the hospital about his love, Aunt Baza collapses due to her health problems.
It is discovered that Aunt Baza suffered a heart attack. Seif and Loloa get closer. Loloa recalls her childhood trauma caused by her mother.
Seif gets a visit from his female classmate, resulting in a misunderstanding between him and Loloa. Loloa decides to break up with him for one month.
Bushra gets arrested and her daughter goes to her grandfather, who helps get Bushra out of prison. Iftikhar has been suffering abuse throughout the years. Jalila wants Saoud, her irresponsible son, to get married.
Saoud is still causing problems for the family. He gets involved with an Indian girl, the daughter of his father's colleague at work, which gets him into an unpleasant situation. His mother tries to resolve the situation with her husband's Indian colleague.
A suitor comes to ask for Loloa's hand in marriage for his son, Othman, from the grandfather, without the knowledge of Hamd.
The grandfather brings together Hamd and the grandchildren to contain the messy situation in the family. Loloa tells Seif that she has a suitor, and Seif tells her that no one will marry her but him.
Loloa recalls her tough childhood with Jalilah, who used to hit her, and how she chose to live with her grandparents Azbeyan and Hassa, and how attached she was to them growing up. She faces difficulty refusing her grandfather's request to marry her to Othman.
Loloa is unable to refuse getting married, and a date is arranged for her to meet the groom, but she leaves without looking at him. Seif is devastated.
News about Loloa's engagement spread, and a girl who admires Seif is happy to hear about it. Loloa informs her grandfather that she is unsure about the groom, and Hamd asks to meet with the groom himself.
Hamd objects to Loloa's marriage to Othman to his father, but his father insists. Loloa avoids confrontation with her grandfather, but she collapses and is hospitalized. Everyone sees how extremist Othman is.
Saoud orders Othman to leave after Othman insists that Loloa wear the Niqab in her sickness. Loloa's grandfather decides against the marriage, and she starts recovering to get out of the hospital.
A flashback shows the incidents leading to Adhiban's death, the son of Hamd and Jalila, and how they feel that Hassa was responsible for his death.
Mohamed, who is busy with his travels, gets into trouble when he is requested to divorce Al-Anoud.
Mohamed suggests to bring balance between his wife in Kuwait and his other new wife, Al-Anoud, whom he adores. Bushra agrees to marry Akash, who is disabled. Garrah is attacked and his mother goes in shock.
Mohamed has a feeling that something has happened to Garrah and decides to come back. His wife makes him promise not to travel again. Loloa is afraid of Alia, who is trying to capture Seif. Mohamed informs the police about his son and tries to identify his attacker.
Hamd and Jalila celebrate their anniversary. Garrah says that Akash was the one who attacked him. Akash's mother passes away while he is detained. Loloa reminisces about her memories with Muhammad.
Seif graduates from medical school with honors. Aksh and Bushra have twins. Muhammad and Al-Anoud have a girl. Saoud continues to try to marry Zeinab. Muhammad surprises his wife, Wadha, with the news of his second marriage.
Adiban refuses the marriage of his grandson Saoud to Zeinab because of the difference of social status. Muhammad and his wife reconcile. Muhammad faces a problem with his business partner, Helen, leading to his arrest.
Jalila discovers that Zeinab is getting engaged, and Saoud kicks the groom out. Hamd is afraid that Saoud's situation will cause a problem with his father. Seif's father goes to ask for Loloa's hand in marriage, and Adiban refuses adamantly.
Adiban's health is in bad shape and he is hospitalized. Wadha gets attached to Muhammad's newborn daughter. Muhammad hits Al-Annoud when she goes missing. He tries to find his child's kidnapper. Adiban starts to recover.
Wadha looks everywhere for the lost child. Loloa decides to postpone her wedding to Seif because of her fear for her grandfather. Adiban discovers that Saoud spends every night at Zeinab's family's home, and when he goes there, her mother tells him that they have been secretly married.
Adiban is bedridden, and feels that his time is near. Muhammad discovers that Wadha has his daughter hidden at another woman's house so he wouldn't leave her. He returns the child to Al-Anoud. Adiban asks Seif for his forgiveness. Saoud finds a cigarette pack and pen in his bed that are not his.
Hessa admits to Saoud that Aisha is the reason for the problem between him and Zeinab. Hamd decides to marry Loloa to Seif. Saoud gets back together with Zeinab and they live with Hessa. Seif informs Loloa that her grandfather has been dead for some time, and she starts to get over her denial.
