As she gets out of her car, Kenza's bag is stolen in front of Karim, who pursues the thief. As Kenza's father arrives, they all go to the police station as Karim gives the bag back to Kenza, who admires him for his courage.

Karim's mother demands money from Kenza's father to compensate for the damage caused to her son. Kenza goes back to where the incident took place and runs into Karim. As Kenza falls down, Karim takes her home, only for the two to hide in the bathroom when her father arrives.

When the Hajj discovers that Karim is with Kenza in the bathroom, he tries to shoot him. Karim's mother arrives to take her son home. As Karim tries to get in contact with Kenza, her father forbids him from calling her, much to Kenza's sadness.

When the Hajj's guard sees Karim with Kenza, they clash and the guard ends up stabbing Karim. As the guard goes to prison, Kenza and the Hajj try to get Karim to drop the charges. The Hajj plots with Idris to get Karim photographed with a girl, but Jamila reveals the plot to Kenza.

As the Hajj asks Idris to get close to Kenza, he gives her flowers at the coffee shop in front of Karim. Kenza apologizes to Karim about the plot with the photographs. Karim and Kenza help Jamila when she gets run over by a car.

Karim takes Jamila to the hospital. The Hajj's plot with Idris about the latter's engagement to Kenza gets revealed as the Hajj sends Karim's mother an invitation to the engagement party. Kenza is saddened by her father's actions.

As Kenza celebrates her birthday, Karim and his mother attend the party, and Karim gives Kenza a ring. However, the Hajj suddenly announces Kenza's engagement to Idris and brings out the engagement ring.

As Jamila goes out with Idris, he confesses his feelings for her, telling her that he has to follow his uncle's orders about his pretend engagement to Kenza. When Manwar sees Jamila and Idris together, he gets mad and quarrels with Idris, causing the latter to be imprisoned.

As Kenza meets Karim in the street, she asks him to wed her regardless of her father's wishes. When Karim refuses, she claims that Karim has tried to rape her. Shakour saves Kenza and they go to the police station, where Kenza confesses the truth to prevent Karim from going to prison.

As Shakour breaks into a bakery to rob it, the owner gives him baked food and money, offering him a job to stop him from stealing. As Shakour sustains a head injury, Karim takes him home to treat him. Kenza visits Karim's house.

The Hajj invites everyone to his ranch and tells Karim's mother Kawthar that Kenza will wed her cousin. Unable to forgive Kenza for accusing him of rape, Karim tells her to wed her cousin.

When Kenza falls into the swimming pool, Idris sees her but is unable to save her or call for help. As Karim saves Kenza, her father becomes angry with Idris, who is revealed to be aquaphobic. When a stranger arrives at the Hajj's house to see Amina, she yells at him.

It turns out that the stranger is Idris's father, who arrives to admonish the Hajj for forcing Idris to marry Kenza and blames the Hajj for forcing him to stay away from his son. Jamila passes out when she hears that Idris is married. Kenza leaves in Idris's car, unaware that the brakes are not working.

Karim catches up to Kenza as the car comes to a stop after catching on fire. Idris tells Amina and Jamila that his father lied about him being married.

Karim sneaks into Kenza's room to make everyone think that they spent the night together, forcing the Hajj to agree to their marriage. A European girl arrives, claiming to be Idris's wife.

As the Hajj passes out, Kenza sticks by his side and hears his incoherent muttering about the truth being revealed. When she questions Amina about what she heard, Amina doesn't provide an answer. Jamila quarrels with the European girl over Idris, leaving Shakour to intervene.

As the Hajj admits to Kawthar that Kenza isn't his biological daughter, Kawthar tells Karim that he must not marry Kenza since her paternity is unknown. Kenza is devastated when she learns the truth, leaving with Karim to go to his house.

As Kenza decides to live alone, Karim enlists the help of a friend to find an apartment for her. As they go to see an apartment, Shakour and Idris cause the elevator to stop. As Karim's friend confesses her feelings for him, Kenza leaves them once the elevator starts working again.

As the Hajj visits Kawthar to congratulate her on her son's engagement, Kawthar informs him that she will help Kenza get a loan to start her own project, which angers the Hajj.

As Manwar asks for Jamila's hand, Idris grows angry, and Shakour tries to calm him down. Jamila reluctantly agrees since Idris is married. Kenza remains in Kawthar's house as she continues to look for work.

As Jamila leaves Manwar during their engagement party, Kenza meets him and gives him some nuts to eat. When Manwar gets dizzy, Kenza takes him to the hospital where Karim reveals that Manwar is allergic to nuts. Kenza rebuffs Karim when he tries to call for her.

As Kenza opens a sewing workshop, her father visits her and asks her to come back home. As Kenza's father reveals that Idris and Jamila are half-siblings, Jamila and Idris overhear them and struggle to process the news.

As Idris climbs up to the balcony in an attempt to kill himself, Kenza begs him to come down, only for him to convince her to join him instead. The European girl, Karim, and the latter's fiancée arrive to prevent Kenza from killing herself.

As the Hajj falls ill and goes to the hospital, Idris visits him with Shakour, while Kenza remains oblivious about what happened. At Karim's request, Kenza helps his fiancée to pick out her dress and ring.

As Kenza's father returns home, his loneliness in Kenza's absence causes his spirits to plummet. Hoda tells Kenza that she needs to stay out of Karim's life.

As Kenza goes back home and meets Jamila, the two devise a plan to get the Hajj back to normal. The Hajj and Idris plot to bring Kenza back. Jamila meets Manwar and agrees to marry him.

As Karim asks Kenza to pick the wedding dress since Hoda is busy, he accompanies her as she puts a dress on to see how it looks. When Shakour calls Kenza to tell her that her father is ill, she leaves the store still dressed in the wedding dress.

As Kenza vanishes, Karim and Manwar try to find her, especially after learning that she was with Shakour. Shakour takes Kenza to his house and confesses that he loves her. As he begs for her forgiveness, Kenza suspects that Shakour is mentally ill and plays along.

Kenza informs her father that she and Karim have decided to wed and prepared everything, forcing her father to approve their marriage, especially in the wake of Kenza's kidnapping by Shakour. Jamila tells Idris that she is going to marry Manwar.

The Hajj pulls out all the stops to stall the wedding, including by pretending to be ill. But Kenza and Karim eventually wed. As Kenza gives birth to a daughter, the Hajj prevents Karim from holding the baby and names her after his own mother.
