Faisal, Bassam, Sari, and Abdul Rahman are preparing for the first day of school at the institute, and the teacher asks them to work in groups and present a film idea.
Bassam, as the film's director, searches for young Saudis to act in his film, and asks his colleague Rana to do so. Bassam and his friends decide to slaughter a sheep to celebrate Eid al-Adha, but they get arrested.
Bassam brings a cat home and decides to take care of it after breaking off his engagement to his cousin. He participates with his colleague in presenting a scene inside a truck driven by Faisal and Bassam.
Faisal tries to submit a scenario for a new artistic work, and during filming, the police arrive and prevent him from completing the work due to the lack of permits. On the other hand, Sari meets his foreign mother and celebrates Mother’s Day with her.
Faisal and Sari seek to convince Sari's mother to convert to Islam. Abdul Rahman objects to Bassam's actions and his invitation to his friend Michael to the house.
Elections are being held at the Saudi Club, and each candidate is trying to influence Bassam to give him his vote. Faisal is working on a documentary about the homeless, and Rana disagrees with Abdul Rahman after he is late for the shooting.
A film festival is held at the university, and everyone presents their film. Robbie is surprised that a copy of his film cannot be shown, and Faisal and Sari are forced to work on a shawarma cart until they collect money for their graduation project.
Bassam convinces his friend to produce a movie for him, in exchange for his help in acting. Abdul Rahman causes a problem between Rana and her brother, and Rana's brother forces her to wear the hijab.
Sari's mother celebrates Christmas, and asks Faisal to buy wine for the party, so he apologizes to her for not doing the job. At the university, the students submit their papers to the approval committee, which gives the green light to start the projects.
On the first day of Ramadan, Bassam films an advertisement for a bottle of water. He is affected by his colleagues eating food at the university while he is fasting. Sari is upset about his mother’s relationship with someone. Everyone celebrates Saudi National Day at the university with Bassam and Faisal.
The youth organize a trip to bid farewell to Bassam as his graduation approaches, and Rana's problem with her brother over the hijab is repeated.
Abdul Rahman makes fun of Bassam's jacket, and Bassam claims that it is director Quentin Tarantino's jacket. A graduation party is held for everyone.
