The wealthy Ibrahim is married to Zahra. Their son, Walid, is a careless boy who only cares about having fun. Ibrahim mistreats his daughter, whom he had with his late first wife. Ibrahim tries to swindle his kind partner, Al-Taher, and uses the employee Ammar to serve that purpose.

As Ammar tries to cause trouble for Al-Taher by stealing important documents, Al-Taher remains unaware of the plot. When a man on Al-Taher's ranch dies along with his wife, Al-Taher welcomes their daughter into his house and gets her a job. Meanwhile, Ibrahim tries to hire Lotfy at the company.

Al-Taher takes Salma, the daughter of the ranch worker, to live with his daughter and gets her a job. As Lotfy starts working at the company, he plots with the manager to steal the merchandise and sell it. Ibrahim tries to appoint Ammar to the financial department to control the company's finances.

As Ammar gets close to Salma, she falls for him, which leads her to rebuff Mohsen when he proposes to her. Al-Taher confronts Ibrahim about his machinations. Ibrahim tries to make his son the manager in his stead, but Al-Taher refuses. Ammar's son gets in an accident.

Lotfy becomes the manager. As the employees visit Ammar's son at the hospital, Lotfy seizes the chance to get close to Ammar's wife, who ends up asking for a divorce. As Al-Taher's daughter leaves her fiancé when she discovers that he is a liar, she accuses Salma of having had an affair with him.

As Ibrahim tries to convince Osama that Mohsen is the one who caused him problems with Mariam, Osama learns that it was Ammar who was behind what happened, as he is trying to get Al-Taher to kick Salma out. Osama and Mariam reconcile after he reveals the truth. Lotfy proposes to Salma.

Ibrahim's son-in-law learns that there is a plot against Al-Taher. Al-Taher's son, Mounir, falls for an epileptic girl. Lotfy refuses to allow his wife to go back to work since he already hired his girlfriend. Mourad tells Al-Taher that Ibrahim and Lotfy are plotting to seize the company.

When Lotfy fires Ammar, the latter enlists Ibrahim's help to get his job back. To get revenge, Ammar tells Al-Taher about the plot, leading to a confrontation with Ibrahim. Mounir has a breakdown in Salma's house. Al-Taher and Ibrahim get in a car accident and pass away.

It's revealed that Al-Taher is still alive, but he has gone blind. When Salma falls pregnant, Lotfy is left to manage the company on his own. Ammar informs Salma that Lotfy is having an affair. When Salma quarrels with Lotfy, he beats her, which induces labor and endangers her life.

It's revealed that Gihan is seeking revenge for her father, who died after Ibrahim caused him to go bankrupt. When Salma is released from the hospital, Mariam refuses to receive her. Lotfy writes the company over to Gihan. Al-Taher vanishes after leaving the house.

Lotfy learns the truth about Gihan. As the company goes bankrupt, Ammar seizes the chance to humiliate Lotfy. Salma asks for a divorce and returns to Al-Taher's house. Gihan hires Lotfy at the company and treats him as his manager. Al-Taher's affection for Salma makes Mounir's girlfriend jealous.

Gihan tries to humiliate Lotfy. Mohsen proposes to Salma. Lotfy asks his sister and wife for forgiveness. Gihan sends Salma money through Mounir, but Salma remains unaware of where the money is coming from. As Lotfy tries to poison Gihan, he incites Mokhtar to kill her.

When Gihan discovers Mokhtar, she forces him to sign a confession. Salma starts designing clothes. Gihan fires Ammar and tries to compensate Salma for what he did. Mohsen remains hopeful that Salma will agree to marry him. Salma is shocked when she learns that Gihan has been sending her money.

Ammar takes Lotfy to see his son Samy at school. It's revealed that Mohsen is the one who forced Gihan to give Salma money, a fact that Lotfy tried to take credit for. Khadija discovers the truth. Lotfy becomes a gambling addict. Gihan discovers that Lotfy has been seeing his son.

Gihan's factory goes bankrupt. Ammar becomes wheelchair-bound after getting in an accident. Salma weds Mohsen. Samy grows up hating his father. Al-Taher undergoes surgery to regain his eyesight. When Lotfy goes bankrupt, his son tries to help him, but Salma refuses to do the same.
