Sobhy wishes to marry his cousin Amira. Azmia and Fares are in love in spite of his engagement to Fakhryia, Al-Mukhtar's daughter. Talaat's mother wants him to marry Sergeant Fekry's daughter.

Al-Basha issues an arrest warrant for Shakur and Sergeant Fekry releases him. The police issue a foreclosure warrant for the imprisoned Izu's house if the 25 gold coins that Izu is accused of stealing aren't paid. Zahria's father asks Fares' father to complete his marriage to his daughter.

Zacco complains about Sergeant Fekry, whose three pregnant wives worry that he might take a fourth wife. Um Al-Earif burns the dresses of the Sergeant's daughters thinking that there is a Jinn in the house. Shakur is arrested and tortured.

Talaat's father, Al-Mukhtar, files a report against Sergeant Fekry that his wives put a spell on his daughter and the chief of police orders Fekry taken into custody. Rumors spread across the city that Al-Mukhtar's daughter has scabies and Al-Mukhtar withdraws the complaint.

Nashat threatens Fekry for being late for work. Fares' father (Abu Fares) asks his brother Fekry to pay the price to half the house, or leave it to him to sell it.

Kawthar, Al-Basha's daughter, tells him that she found him a bride. The bride is Fathia, Fekry's daughter with Hikmat. Fekry asks Al-Mukhtar to loan him 20 pieces of gold to buy half the house before his brother kicks him out.

Shakur's mother is sad that her son was arrested after Al-Basha falsely accused him of attacking his daughter. Fekry signs a trust receipt for Al-Mukhtar. Abu Fares tells Fekry that if he doesn't have a male child, he is entitled to half the house according to the will.

Al-Mukhtar accuses Fekry of stealing five gold coins, but Talaat's wife confesses that she is the one who took them. Fekry promises to help get Shakur out from jail.

Al-Basha refuses to clear Shakur's name. Abu Fares wishes that Fekry's wife, Hikmat, doesn't give birth to a boy.

Hikmat gives birth to two girls and Fekry is sad. Munira admonishes Talaat for sending his mother to ask for her sister Azmia's hand in marriage, and he says that his mother made a mistake.

Abu Fares is determined to seize Fekry's inheritance based on their father’s will. Al-Basha asks Fekry to marry his daughter.

Talaat's mother claims that Fekry's house is haunted. Shakur's father (Abu Shakur) tells Abu Fares that the estate's foreman is married to the daughter of Al-Basha.

Al-Basha orders Abu Shakur to be imprisoned after he reveals the secret of his daughter's marriage. Abu Fares asks Zacco to steal his late father's will from Al-Mukhtar's house. Warden Talaat admires Fekry's daughter, Fathia, and flirts with her.

Zacco can't find the will at Al-Mukhtar's house and steals a vase instead and sells it to Fekry. Fekry realizes that the vase was originally in his late father's house.

Warden Nashat wants to marry Hikmat, Fekry's daughter. Al-Mukhtar reports the vase, which contains gold and important documents, stolen. Fekry agrees to wed his daughter Fathia to Al-Basha.

Al-Mukhtar is surprised after the release of Izu who was accused of trying to rob him. Al-Basha orders the arrest of Abu Shakur again, days after his release.

The warden orders Fekry locked up after Al-Mukhtar files a complaint against him for negligence in performing his job. Izu asks Zacco to work with him against Al-Basha and Abu Fares.

Kawthar goes to Fekry's house and quarrels with his daughter after she refuses to marry her father. Fahim decides to tell Fekry that he wants to marry his daughter.

Zacco breaks into Al-Mukhtar's house. When catches him, he confesses that he stole the vase and sold it to Fekry. Al-Mukhtar asks Zacco to bring the vase back.

Al-Mukhtar is mad at Abu Fares and accuses him of theft and inciting Zacco against him. Al-Basha agrees to let Shakur out of jail but keeps his son locked up. Kawthar wishes to marry Shakur despite her father's opposition to this marriage.

The midwife Um Tahsin tells Talaat's mother that Hikmat gave her five gold coins to buy sewing machines to open a large sewing workshop.

Fekry wishes that his wife Feryal gives birth to a boy so that he could take revenge on Abu Fares, Al-Basha, and Al-Mukhtar after his brother seized the house. Abu Fares is plotting to make Feryal have a miscarriage.

Al-Basha dismisses Nashat from his position and reduces his rank after he asksd to marry Fekry's daughter. Hikmat asks her uncle to help Fekry get out of prison. Al-Basha asks Izu to rob Fekry's house.

Fekry is released from jail after his brother pays Al-Mukhtar. Abu Fares invites Fekry to dinner so that his wife can get Fekry's wife, Wisal, to consume English salt to cause a miscarriage.

Izu steals documents from Fekry's house and Fahim catches him. Wisal gives birth to a girl and Fekry hopes that Feryal gives birth to a boy.

Fekry agrees to wed his daughter Fathia to Nashat. Al-Mukhtar hides Izu. Nashat finds out that Al-Basha's cafe belongs to Fekry and that he seized it.

The cafe is given back to Fekry who finds out that it belonged to his father. Kawthar finds out that her father married the daughter of the estate's foreman and that she is pregnant.

Nashat marries Fathia. Abu Fares tries to get back the documents from Nashat and Fekry before his third wife gives birth. Al-Basha suspects that Izu is hiding the documents.

Al-Basha kicks the foreman out of the estate and Izu promises to help him. Fekry's wives catch Zacco as he tries to rob the house and they beat him up.

Abu Fares asks Fekry to either give him the house so that he can sell or give him 40 gold coins. Al-Basha wants to marry Abu Shakur's daughter.

Sobhy refuses his father's actions against Fekry. Abu Shakur's daughter marries Al-Basha. Um Fares asks Izu's sisters to steal the documents from Fekry's house.

Hikmat catches Izu's sister as she tries to steal the documents. Rumors spread that Zacco is in a relationship with Izu's sister and Izu decides to retaliate.

Izu confesses that Al-Basha asked him to steal a forged sales contract between Al-Basha and Al-Mukhtar, which says that he bought Fekry's late father's land. Izu gives the document to Ferky whose wife gives birth to a boy.

The estate's foreman agrees to wed his daughter, Zuhur, to Izu. Ferky carries out his father's will. He takes the house and the cafe and allows his brother to keep his house and business. Fekry lets his daughters Azmia and Munira marry his nephews. He gets Shakur to marry Al-Basha's daughter.
