Issa is a history teacher in a girls' school in Upper Egypt. He also works as a taxi driver and faces many issues; his mom is sick, his brother was arrested in a fight, and he has to prepare for his sister’s wedding. His friend, Dahy, won’t lend him money, instead, he wants him to work in drugs.

Issa has to sign another promissory note to bail his brother out of jail. With the increasing pressure on Issa, he is compelled to agree on working with Dahy. Farah tells Ezzat that she hates him and that she wants to kill him, and Dahy blackmails her.

Issa starts his work in smuggling drugs to Cairo. Farah visits her father in prison. Issa gets paid for his work in drugs, he then goes to meet with Farah who tells him that she knows about his work in drugs when she overheard Ezzat and Dahy.

Dahy humiliates Issa in front of the workers. Farah tricks Ezzat into thinking she poisoned him, just to scare him. Safiya asks Dahy to stay away from Qamar. Zeina miscarries her embryo, and then her husband and Issa fight. Farah asks Issa to kill Ezat and Dahy.

Farah tries to convince Issa to kill Ezzat and Dahy but fails. Ezzat finds out about the conversation between Farah and Issa and he tortures Abdel Qadir to get him to confess. In Safiya’s bridal shower her mother advises her. Issa travels to Cairo to transfer drugs and gets caught on his way back.

Dahy deliberately puts Issa in jail to prevent him from attending Safiya’s wedding. Ezzat apologizes to Farah for questioning her behavior and he frees Abdel Qadir. Issa is released and he confronts Abdel Qadir. Issa decides that he is not going to let what happened go easily.

Issa injures himself to convince his family that he had an accident that prevented him from attending Safiya’s wedding. Dahy secretly marries Qamar after convincing her that Issa wants to wed her to Helal. Farah agrees with Issa on killing Ezzat and Dahy. Issa’s mother dies.

Issa threatens to kill Dahy, then threatens Ezat the same. Zeinab takes Qamar in. Ezat bugs Farah's car to spy on her. Dahy tells Safiya, Amer, and Qamar that Issa is working for him in drugs. Issa and Farah plot to kill both Ezat and Dahy; the latter hears their plotting. Hamza kills Qamar.

Safiya accuses Issa that he caused Qamar's death. His plan with Farah is revealed again to Ezat and Dahy. Amer divorces Safiya. Ezat catches Farah trying to steal her recordings from his safe.

Safeya asks Dahi for Issa’s recordings. Ezat gives Farah a gun to kill Issa. She sets a date with Issa and gives him the gun, only to be taken by Ezat to the agreed place, where Issa and Abdel Qader also fall for it. A fight erupts and the three of them kill everyone.

Abdel Qader agrees to take responsibility for the killing of Dahy and his men, in return of half of Farah’s inheritance. He turns himself in. Farah and Issa steal their recordings, while Safiya reports her brother's drug dealing business to the police.

The three agree on a story to tell the police after Safiya's reporting, then Issa beats her and whispers to her that he killed Dahy. Ezat's wife's brother asks Farah about the warehouse where he kept the drugs, and she denies knowing anything. Issa receives a visit from Abdel Qader's brother.

Abdel Qader plots against Issa and Farah. Safiya plots with Soraya against them as well. Issa's siblings kick him out of the house, being ashamed of him. Farah finds out the Ezat left her nothing at all.

Issa agrees to deal the drugs for Farah to pay off Abdel Qader, and they both start to fall for each other. Safiya reports him again for not paying his debts to Dahy, but he gets released. Farah flees from the village and turns off her phone.

Farah moves to Cairo and calls Issa to join her. Abdel Qader finds out and is worried they’d give him away. Hamza wants to sell his share in the house. Rashwan reaches Farah's apartment in Cairo and finds Issa there.

Issa mocks Rashwan when he threatens him and Farah, so he leaves. Safiya turns Amer down when he proposes getting back together. Farah and Issa make it to the warehouse where the drugs are kept, and Rashwan catches up with them.

A car chase takes place between Issa and Rashwan who gets derailed in a canal. Issa and Farah hide the drugs at his school. Abel Qader doesn't accept to wait till Issa sells the drugs to have his money. Issa learns that Rashwan is alive and visits him at the hospital.

Rashwan agrees to sell the drugs and Issa takes 1 million pounds as a down payment. Issa plans with Farah to kill Abdel Qader and Eid by poisoning them both. When Eid visits his brother, Hamza wants to eat from the dish he brought.

Issa's plan works. Rashwan calls; he got buyers for the drugs ready with cash. Issa fails to work things out between him and Safiya. He goes to the precinct to collect his cab, and slips before the officer and tell him Abdel Qader was poisoned.

Issa wriggles his way out of his slip with the officer. Rashwan plots a set up for Issa and Farah. Issa plans with his brother to bring armed men to the drug delivery, but when he goes to collect the drugs from their hideout, he finds nothing.

Issa tells Rashwan he hasn't brought the drugs as he doesn’t trust him; he later finds out that the school's janitor took it. Other drug dealers find out about the janitor too, but he tells them it's Issa's. Issa meets the cook and threatens him. The drug dealers capture Issa and Farah.

Issa wriggles his and Farah's way out by telling them he is the cook, and requests they keep Rashwan away from him; he later plans with the cook to work together, and Seddik gives him his house to use it in cooking drugs. Issa saves Zeinab and takes her back to her mom.

Zeinab and Farah quarrel, and Issa ends it by sending Zeinab off. Hamza gets a death sentence. Eissa gets deeper into the drug business with Farah, and they become rich; they later meet a lawyer, Gamal Libba, to get Farah's dad out of prison, but this lawyer starts blackmailing them.

Libba gets Farah's dad out of prison; he agrees to launder 209 million pounds for Issa and Farah so they can live as they please. He helps escape Hamza before he's executed. The police are watching Issa and Seddik after Hamza's escape, and they later raid Seddik’s house where the drugs are cooked.

The police raid Seddik's house and find nothing; they raid Cairo's apartment to search for Hamza but find nothing as well, as Issa hid the money on the roof. Libba devises a plan to launder the money for them. Issa tells Farah he wants to meet her father to propose to her.

Farah's father approves their marriage. Issa videos Hamza and sends the video from a Sudanese line to Safiya, but she finds out it's a prank and learns that Issa and Farah are getting married. She and Zeinab make a scene at the wedding, and Eissa admits everything to Farah’s father.

Issa tells a drug dealer that he quit this business. Seddik uses the video on Safiya's phone as proof that Hamza fled the country. Issa launches a group of companies and assigns Farah's father as their CEO. Safiya pretends to have reconciled with Issa.

Seddik runs the drug business. Issa smuggles Hamza and his family to Greece. Farah threatens to kill Safiya if she thinks of hurting Issa; she reports the cooking operation and Seddik gets arrested, and Issa comes next.

Issa is banned from traveling, while Libba tries to find a way out for Seddik. Farah tries talking Safiya into staying away from Issa. When she won’t listen, Farah shoots her. Issa asks Libba to smuggle him and Farah out of the country after he liquidates his business.

Libba gets arrested for falsely impersonating a lawyer. Issa receives a text from Zeinab telling him that Safiya went to see Farah and never returned. Issa learns the truth of Farah's plot when she texts him from Safiya's phone. Issa eventually kills Farah for killing Safiya and gets arrested.
