A prison commissioner gets an order to execute two prisoners, Amir and Adham, within two hours. A prisoner sets his bed on fire to cause a distraction to stall the execution. Brigadier Issam arrives and tells the commissioner to take pictures of them as if they are dead and set them loose.
Amir and Adham’s death is faked using two other people. Amir kills the officer who was assigned to oversee their escape after he learns that he was ordered to kill them in the forest.
Amir and Adham escape after the officer is shot. Amir’s sister learns of his execution and breaks down. The neighborhood's chief tells her that the people don’t want Amir to be buried in their village.
The authorities learn that Adham and Amir survived the execution and start looking for them. They suspect that Amir may come back to avenge his wife who cheated on him. Adham and Amir go to hide at Abu Al-Azm’s place.
Amir, Adham, and Abu Al-Azm go to a friend for fake passports. They meet the girl Samara who asks them for two million for the passports. Abu Al-Azm decides to mortgage his shop. Meanwhile, the authorities try to keep what happened at the prison under wraps.
Amir’s sister decides to leave the village. Amir goes to his house to check up on it and then goes back to Abu Al-Azm’s house. Abu Al-Azm asks Amir’s sister about their brother Ahmed and she tells him that he died.
Abu Al-Azm warns Amir against going back to his apartment. He tells Adham about his relationship with Amir. A dead body is buried in Amir's stead. The police arrive at Abu Al-Azm’s place.
Abu Al-Azm and Adham get arrested. Amir is able to escape with Samara and Abu Al-Azm's friend. Amir threatens Essam to release Adham and Abu Al-Azm.
Samara informs Amir that Atuf is her mother's husband. She tries to get closer to him but he rejects her, saying he only cares about seeing his children. The police decide to release Abu Al-Azm and keep Adham to put pressure on Amir.
The prison warden finds out about Amir and Adham's escape. Amir records a video where he recounts everything that happened to him and Adham. Samara gets into an argument with Atuf and tells him about her love for Amir.
Amir tells Samara that he killed the children of an official after they harmed his mother and another person, and she decides to support him. He leaves a recording behind when his whereabouts are discovered.
A disturbance in prison results in the death of the prison warden. Amir confesses to Samara his desire to see his children and tells her that his wife is unfaithful.
Samara and Amir decide to go and see his children and she tells him that she wants to get engaged to get read of Atuf's control. Essam returns Adham to Abu al-Azm's home. Atuf tells Essam about Amir's whereabouts. Investigations regarding the prison fire are started.
Essam tells Amir that he does not intend to harm him and informs him about the prison warden's death. Amir gives the recording to Ragheb. Samara goes to Amir's wife, who tells her that she sent the children to their grandfather's home.
When Adham kills himself, Amir decides to keep the news from Essam. Essam arranges a dinner between the prison officials and Amir to discuss his demands.
Amir demands that his case is reopened so that he is proclaimed innocent. Samara tells Amir that his children are with their grandfather. Essam threatens Samara and tells her that she can marry Amir in return for her silence.
Essam comes up with a plan to get Amir back to his village, concocting a story that spirits protected Amir. Essam insists on meeting with Adham.
Abu Al-Azm and Samara go to the village with Amir while she pretends to be paralyzed. She tells the people of the village that Amir came to her in a dream and told her to come to the village for one day in order to recover, and she meets Amir's family.
Essam learns about Adham's suicide. The people of the village are astonished to see Samara walk and they honor Amir. The man responsible for Amir's mother's death comes forward to cast doubt on Samara's claims.
Amir's enemy asks Samara to confess that she was lying in return for money, but she refuses. The villagers are surprised to see Amir at a shrine in the village.
Amir meets with his children and is taken to the station to be questioned about his return. Amir's enemy plots to kill him.
The village's elder goes to the Sheikh who prepared Amir's body for burial and discovers that the body was disfigured. Judge Marwan announces to the people of the village that Amir was killed in prison and his body was disfigured in a subsequent fire.
The people of the village question Amir about what happened to him, and he tells them that they will die if he tells them the truth. Amir proposes to Samara and decides to go to Atuf to ask for her hand.
Ragheb tells Essam that Safwan came to prison and reviewed the inmates' records. Amir's friend from the village brings Amir's wife and Amir divorces her. Amir's family asks him for an explanation but he refuses to tell them the truth.
As a new investigation with Ghalib commences, Ragheb and Essam both grow wary and consider leaving the country. Ragheb meets with Amir and tells him that he has to turn Essam in or they will all be arrested.
Ragheb keeps Amir detained. Essam gets his assistant to arrest all the meeting's attendees and takes them to prison.
Essam forces Ragheb to admit to everything. Essam agrees with the police to pretend that they planned everything that happened. Samara tells Ruba the truth. Amir is set free and Essam tells him to return to the village.
Essam asks Amir to sacrifice either Abu Al-Azm or Samir. Nashaat Al-Wazzan decides to kill everyone who was involved in the kidnapping, including Essam and Amir. Amir and Samara get into an argument over Samara telling Ruba everything.
Amir's wife comes to get their children after going to the police. Amir prepares for his wedding the following day.
During the wedding, Nashaat records a video where he admits everything. A plan is made to arrest Essam and Amir but Essam gets wind of it and escapes with Amir.
