High school principal and retired superhero Jefferson Pierce is forced to return back to use his powers to save his daughters from the gang, the 100.

Jefferson decides to go after the 100 to avenge Lawanda's death. Anissa uses her newfound powers to face off a robber.

As Jefferson tries to help one of his students with his addiction, he finds the source of a new drug that is spreading in the streets.

After a surprising phone call, Jefferson finds himself investigating his father's murder that occured years ago. Annisa must come to terms with the consequences of her actions. Jennifer learns to control her anger.

Jefferson goes after his father's killer. After a failed protest, Anissa uses her powers to set things right. Jennifer struggles with tough choices. Gambi asks for Lynn's help.

As Black Lightning continues to chase Tobias, Anissa is still trying to adjust to her new reality and control her powers.

Black Lightning teams up with Anissa to help him find proof to clear his name. Gambi is facing a difficult situation that puts his life in danger. Jennifer works as an intern for Lynn.

As tension continues to rise between Black Lightning and Gambi, Black Lightning struggles to prove his innocence and capture his father's killer.

Lynn makes a new discovery about Jennifer's powers. Black Lightning rescues Gambi after Martin Proctor and the A.S.A. kidnap him. Proctor finds out Black Lightning's identity.

Lynn asks for Detective Henderson's help. Following Jefferson's arrest, Gambi and Anissa team up to make the people of Freeland not notice that Black Lightning is not around.

After he returns to Freeland, Tobias sets out to capture Black Lightning. Following a huge battle, Anissa and Jennifer are able to help Jefferson.

As everyone is trying to come to grips following the face-off with Black Lightning, Tobias has to act fast and gather his forces before it's too late.
