The people of Al-Dab'a alley were forced to flee to Al-Salihiya neighborhood, after the alley was shelled by the French. The people of Al-Salihiya neighborhood hosted them in their homes. Abu Azzam ensured that all men and women had food, and decided to meet with the men to discuss what happened.
Al-Mokhtar, the Elder, tells Umm Mansour that her son was killed by French soldiers. When Al-Mahjoub returns home, Al-Sharif attacks him to avenge for his brother, but Abu Azzam stops him.
The people receive condolences in Mansour. Abu Azzam provides for the refugees in Al-Dab'a. He tries to find out why Al-Sharif is insisting on killing Al-Mahjoub, but the latter refuses to tell him, so he orders him to leave the alley with his mother within a month.
The people of the alley celebrate the preparations for Syrian independence from the French occupation. Al-Zaeim meets with Abu Ramzi and Mukhtar to persuade him to prevent his son from killing Al-Mahjoub, but Shokry wouldn’t change his mind. Azzam and Abu Ramzi agree to hold the wedding next week.
Al-Akeid returns back to Al-Salihiya. Mahjoub fights Shokry in the market. The police arrest Shokry. Abu Al-Nar returns to the alley and meets his father. Mahjoub tells Al-Zaeim why he killed Ramzi, and that he knew his sister. Senior members of the alley try to persuade Shokry not to kill Mahjoub.
Abu Azzam asks his son to divorce Sohaila because of what her family did. Abu Nahla’s wife doesn’t like his job. Abu Al-Nar asks Azzam to find a home after the return of his son and wife, who tells her son that his father divorced her. Fadi returns to the alley and asks for Abu Azzam’s protection.
Suhaila cries after Azzam divorces her because of what Shokry did. Everybody is trying to convince him not to kill Al-Mahjoub. Abu Al-Nar takes his son and mother to their new home. Abu Selim returns home after the surgery. Shokry and Azzam fight over what happened.
Police’s searching for Fadi and they want to search all the houses. Abu Azzam approves, after he managed to sneak Fadi out with Abu Azzam and Ratib. Shokry & Mahgoub fight again at the cafe, and Abu Nabil tries asking Mahgoud why he killed Shokry’s brother.
Shokry gets a gun to kill Mahgoub. Mahgoub’s mom dies, and he sets out to search for his runaway sister. Um Selim comes home to find her husband bleeding, so she brings the nurse she met at the hospital to care for him.
Mahgoub’ search for his sister continues, while Shokry’s waiting to kill him. Azzam’s sister wants him to propose to Mansour’s sister, but he puts her off. Mahgoub’s sister appears to be working as a maid. Abu Nabil’s daughter graduates as a medical doctor.
Abdeen marries Rateeba. Ratib requests to sleep at the drug store till he gets a home. Shokry shoots Mahgoub who’s rushed to the hospital, and he gets arrested, but his father bribes Abu Menshar to make him set his son free.
Shokry walks free. Abu Basam finds someone claiming to be his nephew, and asks for his inheritance, so he kicks him out, but The Elder tells him that he’s truly his nephew, Nizar’s son, and that he has a key to his father’s house, and Abu Azzam sends for him.
Abu Azzam and The Elder meet to discuss the heir’s issue, and the young man tells Abu Azzam of a secret only he and his father knew, so he confirms he’s the rightful heir of Nizar, which enrages Abu Basam, and refuses to hand him his inheritance. Mahgoub’s recovering.
Fat’hi fights with Abu Basam boys, and all are taken to the police, where Fat’hi shows official documents to prove he’s his nephew, but he still won’t yield. Fat’hi later goes to Abu Al-Nar at the house with Abu Azzam, who tells him to look for his father’s treasure hidden there.
Fat’hi retrieves the treasure, but is surprised it’s not as his father discribed, so Abu Azzam suspects Abu Basam for it. Abu Ma’arouf wants to marry off his step daughter to get rid of her. Mahgoub is still searching for his sister, Khayzoran.
The French officer calls Abu Azzam to interrogate him about Fadi, who thinks to give himself up, but the Elder refuses. Abu Azzam returns safely from interrogations, and suspects there’s someone spying for the French. Abu Basam still insists not to give his nephew his rights.
Fat’hi fights with his uncle over his rights. Shokry tells the alley robber about the treasure found recently. The waiter’s father gets ill, so he buys medicine for him from Ratib, which kills the man; Ratib’s taken to the police with Abu Mishaal, and the doctor.
Ratib’s interrogated. Shokry and his friend the thief steal the treasure, so Abu Azzam and Fat’hi report the theft. Shokry fails to kill Mahgoub again. The officer commands Abu Basam to be interrogated for the theft.
Fawzia returns to her father’s home with her fellow wife. Abu Basam’s wife and her sister threaten Fat’hi if her husband doesn’t come back from the precinct, she’d reveal his father’s secret. Abu Azzam tries to find if a stranger came into the alley at the time of the theft.
Fat’hi drops charges against his uncle after the threat he received, and his uncle’s released. Abu Azzam also confirms to him that his father’s money weren’t clean money. Khayzoran’s daughter gets raped by Fakhr, who threatens her if she spoke about it.
Abu Jasim asks Abu Azzam’s help to find a wife, and Abu Azzam asks for the Elder’s sister’s hand for him. Ratib gets released, so he goes back to work at the drug store. Abu Ma’rouf tells the bathroom boy that Abu Al-Nar killed his father. Khayzoran finds out what Fat’hi did to her daughter.
The Elder’s sister agrees to marry Abu Jassim. Shokry, the bathroom boy, and Abu Al-Nar are released. Fadi likes Abu Nabil’s daughter. Fat’hy and his sister agree to reconcile with their uncle. Khayzoran confronts Fakhry’s father with what his son did, but he won’t let his son marry the maid’s daughter.
Sereya accepts Azzam as a suitor. Khayzoran moves into Umm Leila’s house and tells Leila what happened from Fakhry. Qadreya tries to convince her husband, Abu Nehla, to move back to Al-Dab'a alley after Abu Azzam’s house was broken into.
Fawzia learns that her fellow wife’s pregnant. Esmat tells Khayzoran to go back home until he sets her up with a man to marry her. Fat’hy calls the people of the alley to witness reconciling with his uncle. Abu Jassim marries the Elder’s sister. Noran’s husband surprises her with a new house.
Shokry lurked for Azzam and managed to kill him; Every man in the alley gets investigated for the crime, including Shokry, and Azzam’s parents are devastated over his death.
Abu Bassam’s sons are held for questioning in Azzam’s murder, which enrages him as he suspects that Abu Azzam’s behind the accusation; he later bribes someone to get them out. Khayzoran sees Abu Nabil at Esmat’s home, where Esmat tells his wife he thinks about marrying Fakhry to Abu Nabil’s daughter.
Leila finds out Kamal died a year ago. Abu Al-Nar & Fat’hy are interrogated for Azzam’s murder. Sokkar asks for Abu Nabil’s daughter’s hand for her son, Fakhry. Abu Nakash finds Fadi’s whereabouts.
The French raid the alley to capture Fadi, but the people stand up for them. Abu Nabil finds out about Khayzoran, and asks her to come back to the alley, but she refuses, and Esmat tells him about Fkhary’s problems. Bassam wants to marry his cousin.
Shokry & Sa’adon wants to kick out all of Al-Dab'a alley people from Al-Salihiya alley, and harass Ratib & Abu Al-Nar to start a fight. Khayzoran robs Esmat’s house and flees with her daughter.
Bassam gets engaged to his cousin. Mahgoub tells Abu Nabil about his sister, and asks him not to kill her. Umm Azzam holds a memorial for her son. Umm Ramzy arouses problems with Al-Dab'a alley’s women, and tells them to leave Al-Salihiya. Abu Ma’rouf proposes to Umm Zaky.
Abu Nabil quarrels with Esmat about Khayzoran. Fat’hy wants his sister to look for gold at their uncle’s house after she marries Bassam. Yehia wants to marry Abu Mustafa’s daughter. Shokry wants to go solo, and his mother asks for Abu Bassam’s daughter’s hand. Abu Ma’rouf & Umm Zaky get married.
Shokry fails to kill Abu Azzam & Ratib, and flees the alley while everyone’s trying to find out he did that. Abu Mustafa rejects Yehia’s proposal. Shokry hides the jewelry and guns he stole at his father’s store, when Abu Masha’al tells the people of the alley they will be investigated and searched.
Abu El Ghadab’s arrested for stealing Fat’hy’s gold, as the latter was instructed to do by Abu Mustafa who quarrels with Abu Al-Nar and tells him to leave the alley. Abu Nabil locates Khayzoran and promises to help her sort things out with her brother.
Leila agrees to marry Ratib. Shokry marries Abu Bassam’s daughter. Turns out Abu Mustafa rejected Yehi for seeing him near their house. Umm Zaky is pregnant. Abu El Ghadab thinks Shokry had told on him, so he tells Abu Azzam he’s the one who killed his son, so the latter decides to avenge his son.
