During Eid, Galal, his brother and mother go to visit his sister Kulthum in the house where their mother used to be a maid. Kulthum and her husband don't get along. Galal and Badryia confess their love to each other. Lobna learns that she's pregnant.

Yehia wants to go to the doctor with Kulthum to find out which one of them can't have kids. Yehia's father, Hajj Farag, spies on him to find out what he's trading in. Hakim calms Lobna down and tells her that he won't leave her.

Hajj Farag tells Yehia that he knows that he's stealing from him. Hakim and Lobna agree to get married. Someone attacks Hakim and Hakim hits him.

Hakim escapes in his car, but the brother of the man he injured takes the car number. Yehia tries to bribe one of his father's employees to work with him. Kulthum overhears Yehia and her father talking about the smuggling issue.

Kulthum finds out about what her brother, Hakim, did. Her father tells her that Hakim was drunk and deserves to be punished.

Hakim is sentenced to two years in prison, and Lobna is sad. Hakim asks his brother Galal to marry Lobna to protect her from being disgraced because of her pregnancy.

Galal is torn between his love for Badryia and his brother's request to marry Lobna. He eventually proposes to Lobna, as Badryia prepares for their wedding.

Lobna accepts Galal's marriage proposal. The Hajj is upset with Galal when he tells him that he doesn't want to marry his daughter.

Umm Al-Ghaith (Al-Ghaith's mother) tries to get close to Ibrahim, and his wife, Nea'ma, is upset. Galal marries Lobna, and Badryia travels to finish her studies. Umm Al-Ghaith incites the Hajj to take revenge on Sou'ad and her children, especially Kulthum.

Kulthum leaves the Hajj's house after Yehia throws her out. The daughter of Saa'dia the maid steals important paper from the Hajj's office and he accuses his son. Umm Al-Ghaith finds out that Yehia is having an affair with Maryam, the maid's daughter.

Kulthum is pregnant and she visits Hakim in prison. Maryam quits her job. Umm Al-Ghaith tells Maryam's mother that her daughter is in a relationship with Yehia.

Galal tells his mother that he saw Rabie' with Yehia in the car. Maryam tries to drive a wedge between the Hajj and Yehia. Umm Al-Ghaith tries to find out everything about the Hajj from the man closest to him. Lobna loses her baby.

The man tells Umm Al-Ghaith that all the goods have been sold. The Hajj thinks that his son is competing with him in the business. Lobna asks for a divorce after her miscarriage.

Galal refuses to divorce Lobna who misses Hakim. The maid's daughter, Maryam, tries to get close to the Hajj who gives her money and travels to Tangier to meet her.

Yehia tells Kulthum that he knows that she's pregnant and asks her to come home. Galal goes to visit his brother and he tells him that he can be released early.

Galal is sad because he will leave Lobna. The Hajj falls for Maryam. Galal and Lobna grow close. Yehia tries to reconnect with Kulthum.

Umm Al-Ghaith tells Ibrahim that she's been in love with him for 20 years but he asks her to stay away from him. Lobna and Galal are in love. Badryia returns from abroad. When Maryam returns to Casablanca, she meets Yehia and tries to get close to him.

Maryam asks the Hajj to get her job back, and he buys her a car. Ibrahim tells Umm Al-Ghaith that he hates her. Lobna runs into Badryia at a cafe.

Lobna is pregnant and Galal is overjoyed. A new maid, Farah, starts working for the Hajj, and as usual, he falls for her. Hajj Al-Masoudi asks for Umm Al-Ghaith's hand from her brother.

Farah tries to get close to Yehia who responds to her. Badryia tries to rekindle her relationship with Galal. The Hajj gives money to Farah as Yehia goes out with her. Maryam comes to the Hajj's house.

Nea'ma complains to Lobna of Ibrahim's treatment of her. Galal tells Lobna that he loves her, and will never go back to Badryia. Kulthum goes with Yehia to the clinic.

Umm Al-Ghaith tries to incite Nea'ma against Ibrahim. Maryam wants to strike a deal with Yehia to get back at the Hajj. Ibrahim leaves the house after he fights with Nea'ma.

Umm Al-Ghaith is glad to see her plan to keep Ibrahim and Nea'ma apart has succeeded. Sou'ad her daughter, Kulthum, to get divorced. Umm Al-Ghaith asks Farah to spy on the Hajj, Farah also spies for Moussa and tells him everything she hears.

Maryam meets Farah and mocks her. Nea'ma's father tries to convince her to return to her husband, while Ibrahim goes to meet Umm Al-Ghaith.

Nea'ma pushes Ibrahim to quit his job and her father gets upset. The Hajj asks Maryam to forgive him. Kulthum asks Galal to help her get back to Yehia. Farah wears new outfits, and the Hajj and Yehia both admire her. Umm Al-Ghaith offers Ibrahim a new job.

Yehia suspects that Farah and Moussa are in a relationship. Nea'ma finds out about Ibrahim and Umm Al-Ghaith's relationship. Farah tries to steal documents from the Hajj.

Badryia tries to find information about a previous maid named Fatma, who used to work for them and was fired after she got pregnant. Sou'ad wants Hajj Farag to come to her, so that Kulthum can go back to his son Yehia.

Ibrahim finds out that Umm Al-Ghaith was plotting to keep him apart from Nea'ma and asks Nea'ma to forgive him. Ibrahim returns to his wife. Umm Al-Ghaith has a nervous breakdown. Lobna wants Galal to tell Hakim about his feelings for her.

Lobna leaves the house and Galal looks for her. When Umm Al-Ghaith wears a wedding dress and imagines that she's a bride, she's taken to a mental hospital. Badryia tells Yehia that they have a sister. It turns out that Farah is the Hajj's daughter and Sou'ad sent her to set him up.

Lobna dies after bleeding out and Galal is devastated. Yehia talks to his friend who betrayed him in a deal, but the friend dies. The Hajj learns that Farah knows Sou'ad. The police arrest the Hajj for forging work paper. Yehia goes to jail for killing his friend.
