Lala Mama pays her daughter a visit and she rebukes her for insulting Mahdi. Skunfedri reunites with his siblings and asks to join them for work. As for Karim, his mother makes use of every opportunity to humiliate his wife who cannot give birth.

Skufundri promises to get his mother out of prison, and he threatens Farid's wife to take revenge on her for what she's done to Amina. Grieving what happened to his mother, Karim hires a lawyer, and when Kolthoum is released, her children, as well as Skufundri, are overjoyed.

Karim and his wife quarrel as she feels jealous about his visit to his son. Karim and his mother travel to Tangier to console Lala Mama over the death of her son. Karim's aspirations are thwarted as his ex-wife refuses to let him see his son.

Lala Kolthoum advises her son to forget about his ex-wife and his son, but that's easier said than done; Karim decides to have Skundufri's help to get custody of his son. Lala Mama bursts into tears as she stands to mourn her deceased son.

Karim's persistence in getting custody of his son enrages his wife. Being Farid's legitimate heir, Hanaa takes over the management of the company. Skufundri heads to Lala Kolthoum's house and gives Amina the money, but her mother throws him out.

Karim and his sister Amina look for jobs while their mother starts a career in sewing. Skufundri assures Amina that she needn't look for a job and he promises to financially help her.

Lala Mama succeeds in having Karim imprisoned. At prison, Karim meets Skufundri who gets relieved to find Karim there and he tells him the tragic story of his life since he was a child at the orphanage. When Karim gets out, he is shocked to learn that Soaad adopted a child.

One of the clients tries to help Amina find a better job at a better place. Karim, meanwhile, insists to see his son, and he quarrels with Lala Mama, but Nesrine intervenes to help him. Skundufri's feelings for Amina are getting tense as he tries to find a way to confess his love to her.

Soaad's adopted child dies and she points an accusing finger at Karim, which inflames a quarrel between the couple. Amina starts working for the client she's met, which raises Skundufri's suspicions and he tries to warn her mother.

Soaad asks Karim to divorce her, and Lala Kolthoum intervenes to reconcile between them. Sofia tries to get Amina to work with her in prostitution, and despite her initial rejection, Amina eventually gives in when she learns that her mother doesn't have any money.

Karim goes to Tangier to meet his son secretly with the help of his sister-in-law, and his search for a job is fruitful as he eventually finds a company that hires him. Amina resumes working in prostitution, and she turns down a man's attempt to approach her.

Skufundri rescues Amina and beats the man. He advises her never to squander her dignity and self-respect for so little a price! Lala Kolthoum asks Skufundri to stay away from her daughter. Karim manages to meet his son while Soaad moves to Fouad's house.

Karim asks Nesrine to help him find the money to ward off the blackmailer, but it turns out that Nesrine will never help Karim; in fact, she will nonchalantly do the opposite. Soaad becomes friends with Laila, Fouad's wife, which upsets Fouad.

Lala Kolthoum tries to bargain with Karim and she offers him money to convince him to give up his son. Nesrine tries to help Karim find a new job. Eventually, it turns out that Skufundri is the one who has been blackmailing Karim.

Farid's wife and his son visit Lala Mama to claim their right to inheritance. Soaad asks Karim to divorce her. Simultaneously, she asks Fouad to get back to his wife and forget about her. Karim lands a job at Nesrine's husband's company.

Nesrine's husband suspects that his wife and Karim are having a relationship so he violently beats her. Fouad and Soaad decide to get married, but the news of Laila's pregnancy urges them to reconsider.

Kenani's company has a party, Ghaitha is overjoyed to meet Karim and she immediately decides to appoint him a manager. Despite her objection to the decision, Hanaa has no other option but to treat Karim as such. Fouad is so willing to divorce Laila for he's growing passionately in love with Soaad.

Ghaitha tells Karim that he has always been her lover despite his rejection of her in the past, and she asks him to help her obtain all the company's accounts, but Karim rejects her one more time. Soaad travels to Tangier to stay with Karim.

Karim rejects Soaad's attempts to get closer to him, and he spies on Hanaa for Ghaitha. In exchange, he asks Ghaitha to make him a shareholder in the company. Soaad sees Nesrine at Karim's house.

Assouli passes away. Soaad chooses Karim over Fouad. Skufundri tells Amina that he wants to marry her. Karim rescues Nesrine who has been locked in an isolated apartment.

After Karim rescues Nerine, she finds her husband dead in the same apartment and the police accuse her of murdering him. Nesrine admits to the police that she's indeed in love with Karim, but she will never murder Rashid. Soaad leaves Karim upon learning of the crime.

Fouad meets Soaad and asks her to marry him, so she decides to leave Karim and move with Fouad to Casablanca. Lala Mama tries to kill Farid's son, but the governess saves him. Amin comes to live in Lala Kolthoum's house.

Soaad agrees to marry Fouad and Karim decides to marry Nesrine who wants to flee Tangier. Karim helps Ghaitha take revenge on Lala Mama and Hanaa by taking over their shares in the company.

Lala Kolthoum sees Karim and rebukes him for prioritizing money over his own family. Amina tries to get closer to Skufundri now that he took Assouli's place. Karim, meanwhile, sides with Ghaitha and the Kenani family against Hanaa and Lala Mama.

Karim's mother gets into the hospital, and Amina is saddened by her brother's indifference to the matter. Nesrine gets into a state of extreme anxiety as she imagines seeing Rashid everywhere and Karim tries to calm her down. Lala Mama still refuses to allow Karim to see his son.

Karim goes to visit his mother who wakes up from the coma; he quarrels with his sister and leaves her and returns to Tangier. Hanaa decides to perform a DNA profiling for Ghaitha's son to make sure of his lineage.

Hanna informs Lala Mama and Nesrine that her son's father is actually Karim, but the news doesn't come as a surprise to Karim. Nesrine's anxiety and sense of guilt are eating her alive, so she heads to the police station to confess to murdering Rashid.

After recounting how she murdered Rashid, Nesrine is imprisoned. Amina moves to Amin's house. Skufundri looks after Lala Kolthoum. Lala Mama threatens Ghaitha to kill her.

Laila gives birth and Fouad informs Soaad of the news, so she goes to the hospital and kidnaps the newborn. Fouad goes to Soaad to urge her to give him back his daughter. Lala Kolthoum meets Lala Mama and asks her to stay away from Karim.

Ghaitha travels and leaves her son to Karim to raise him. Soaad gets into the mental asylum and Fouad returns to his wife. Amina marries Skufundri, whereas Karim lives with his mother and his children.
