Sayed decides to step out of his father Abdul Jabbar's shadow and participates in a big auction against Abu Doma. Abdul Jabbar falls ill and his condition deteriorates, while Sayed is kidnapped a few hours after winning the auction.
Sayed returns after he escapes his captors. After Abdul Jabbar dies and Sayed manages everything, he prepares to enter a new auction to take revenge on Abu Doma, who turns out to be his captor.
Abdul Tawab convinces Sayed to let his son, Moselhi, enter school. Years pass by and Moselhi succeeds in secondary school, but his father, Sayed, stands in the way of his dream to join the Faculty of Engineering, due to his desire to qualify Moselhi to become the master after him.
Moselhi flees from Tanta, hoping to fulfill his dream of joining the Faculty of Engineering. Meanwhile, Ashour, the right-hand man of Sayed, plans to turn against him to become the master of the market.
Moselhi works in Cairo to pay for his studies. Mounir throws himself into his father Sayed's world to become his next-in-line. Saleh struggles to prove his father's innocence.
After Ashour informs Sayed of the plot of Sonqor and his men to rob his market, it is revealed that Sonqor has colluded with Ashour, who slanders Sonqor in front of Sayed to get close to him. A suitor proposes to marry Rawheya.
Moselhi falls in love with his college mate, whom he discovers is exploiting his feelings. Rawheya's marriage to Mahrous gets complicated. Mounir plans to follow in his brother's footsteps and complete his studies.
Moselhi suffers from depression after his emotional experience falls through, and he fails at university. On Moselhi's return to his father's bosom, all Ashour's plans get complicated. Saleh's father passes away before he learns of his proven innocence.
Moselhi begins to work in the agency to become Sayed's successor, since that Mounir has fled to complete his studies. Meanwhile, Ashour plots for Moselhi.
When Mounir returns to his father, the latter discovers that his son has joined the Military Academy, and that his dream of Mounir to follow in Moselhi's footsteps and work in the agency has shattered. Moselhi plans to get married.
After Moselhi is shocked at his neighbor's refusal to marry him because he did not complete his studies and that he works in the agency, Sayed decides to wed him to Firdaus, after which Moselhi leaves the agency.
When Saleh proposes to Sayed's daughter, Sayed discovers that Saleh wants to marry Salwa and not Rawheya, so he kicks him out. Hassan proposes to marry Rawheya, and so Ashour proposes to Salwa, and Sayed agrees.
After he surrenders to the life his father wanted for him, Moselhi's condition deteriorates and he suffers severe depression, but Mounir succeeds in persuading him to return to the agency. Mounir doubts the identity of Hassan, Rawheya's fiancé.
Sayed finds out about Ashour's plot against him, and that he colluded with fraudulent Hassan to marry Rawheya. After Sayed's condition deteriorates and he needs a kidney donor, Saleh donates his kidney to save him, after which Sayed promises to compensate everyone and change his outlook on life.
