Two girls go to work in a rural area to teach, and the children try to annoy them. Al-Habib, who lives in a house off the sea, asks the divers to return from the sea only after sunset and quarrels with one of them.
As Al-Habib decides to ask for Asia's hand in marriage after she gets divorced, he asks his young son to go to live with his mother. As for the girls who arrived to become teachers, they live in the big house as guests.
As Al-Habib meets the teacher, he tries to prove to her that he is using the school for the benefit of the poor during the holiday. He fights with Essam because he wants to marry Asia to seize the inheritance.
When the Grandma tells Al-Habib that Essam is the one who will marry Asia, he takes Asia and marries her against her will.
Essam reaches Asia in time before she marries Al-Habib and takes her home. The Hajja asks him to marry Asia, and he accepts. The school teacher is surprised by the news of Essam's marriage.
Hassna overhears Essam telling Asia that he only married her to protect her from Al-Habib. She goes to live in her father's closed house and Essam tries to help her.
Two assailants break into Hassna's house while she's sleeping, and Essam protects her from them. Nadia searches for the children to bring them back to school, and Sa'eed helps her.
Nadia and Sa'eed become friends. Hassna teaches at school, and she refuses to withdraw the complaint against Al-Habib. Essam quarrels with Asia because she is determined to stay with him in his room.
The two assailants burn Hassna's house down and Essam saves her again. Asia grows jealous of her, as she's is trying to get close to Essam. Sa'eed takes money from the governess and gives it to Nadia.
Hassna's husband arrives and asks her to let him in, and she agrees to avoid making a scene in front of the neighbors. She later kicks him out, and Essam quarrels with him. Nadia starts working for Al-Habib.
Asia tells Hassna's husband that his wife is pregnant, and he suspects that she's having an affair with Essam. Al-Habib quarrels with Sa'eed and asks him to travel, but he refuses. Sa'eed has a car accident.
Hassna has an abortion, and Essam visits her at the hospital. Fatma is sad over Sa'eed and everyone is surprised at her stance towards him because she is not his mother.
Al-Habib fires Fatma and hires Nadia in her place. Fatma's sister Rabia goes to fight with Nadia and beats her. Asia tells Essam that he slept with her to deceive him and make him love her. Hassna's husband threatens her at the hospital.
Al-Habib hides his son Sa'eed, and prevents Fatma from seeing him. Hassna's husband accuses Essam of wanting to marry his wife. Asia tells the Hajja that she's pregnant, and feigns being tired.
As Essam tricks Asia and calls her a doctor, he finds out that she's not pregnant. A man kidnaps Nadia and asks Al-Habib for money. Hassna and Essam grow closer.
Hassna asks her husband for a divorce, while Asia's kids go missing and a man brings them home. As Fatma goes to Al-Habib's house and looks after Nadia, she promises to conceal the fact that Sa'eed is her son.
Asia's husband, Al-Araby, returns home and his mother rejoices because they thought he was dead. He is angry with Essam for marrying his wife in his absence. Al-Habib uses children to work in his factory but Hassna tries to bring them back to school.
Al-Araby threatens Al-Habib with a knife after he seized his father's money, but Essam comes and stops him. Al-Araby considers Asia to be his wife still, but she refuses.
Essam quarrels with Al-Araby because he wants to kill his father. Al-Araby tells Sa'eed to search for his real mother, and he in turn asks Fatma about her. Hassna is insulted on the pretext that she wants the women of the region to get divorced.
Al-Araby throws Asia out, and he becomes a religious extremist who considers everything to be forbidden. Both Essam and the Hajja quarrel with him.
When Al-Araby tells Sa'eed that Fatma is his mother, and that the Hajja raised him as her own son, Essam thinks of himself as an illegitimate son. Asia throws herself off the fence in fear of Al-Araby.
Al-Araby influences Sa'eed to be a religious extremist like him, and Sa'eed abandons music and stops seeing Nadia. Essam tries to talk some sense into Sa'eed, and Al-Habib starts to treat him better.
In order to keep her away from Essam, Fatma tells Hassna that Al-Habib is her father. Al-Araby plans to take his two sons and his money and go to jihad.
Unaware that Hassna is Al-Habib's daughter, Essam quarrels with Al-Habib after he sees him hugging her. Asia discovers that Al-Araby wants to take the children surreptitiously. Al-Araby agrees with Sa'eed to go with him for jihad.
Hassna tells Essam that she's his sister, and he faints. Al-Araby takes his children from Asia by force, and Sa'eed says goodbye to Nadia.
The Hajja tells her son, Essam, that Hassna is not his sister, nor is she Al-Habib's daughter, and she has the documents to prove it. She reports Al-Araby to the police, and tells them that he is a terrorist who's a threat to the country and the children. Sa'eed is kidnapped by some men in a car.
Al-Habib keeps his son Sa'eed captive to prevent him from traveling with Al-Araby for jihad. The police arrest Al-Araby and interrogate Sa'eed. Essam tries to forget Hassna since she's his sister.
The Hajja is saddened that her son Al-Araby has become a terrorist, while Hassna is sad that Essam is her brother as she loves him.
Hassna gets a divorce, and she celebrates with the girls. Sa'eed is released after Al-Araby confesses that he has nothing to do with the terrorist cell. Asia makes candy in Rabia's house and sells it.
Hassna finds out that Essam is not her brother and they agree to get married. Al-Araby goes to jail and he regrets what he did. Sa'eed helps Essam to dive in search of coral in the sea after reconciling with his father.
