After years of success in his popular TV show in the 1990s, BoJack Horseman lives a miserable life in Hollywood after his artistic luster has been extinguished, and he seeks a way to return and get out of his grief.


BoJack Horseman begins a new journey in his career as he gets nominated for a biopic about his idol, Secretariat, a champion American thoroughbred racehorse, but soon BoJack spoils things again.


BoJack discovers that his movie has been completed with visual effects to become a stunning success, and he gets back in the limelight, promoting his new movie, but he has to fix some of his mistakes first.


BoJack is completely cut off from life after the death of Sarah Lynn, and while he is in a complete sense of guilt, Mr. Peanutbutter decides to run for mayor of California.


While BoJack Horseman is preoccupied with his new TV series, which is witnessing his return to the scene again after a long absence, Diane finds herself facing the complete collapse of her married life with Mr. Peanutbutter.


In season 6, BoJack seeks to make amends for past mistakes after being in rehab, but he soon realizes that it won't be an easy mission.
