Jessica and Honey argue over Emery as he prepares for a role in a play. Louis and Eddie decide to talk to Evan after they saw him get nervous when Brandi Chastain took off her shirt after scoring the winning goal for Team USA.

As Louis and Jessica reminisce about the past, Grandma Jenny, Emery, and Evan are looking forward to the future. Eddie's first college visit doesn't go so well.

Grandma Huang decides to retire during Marvin's retirement party, and she wants to have a hot tub as her retirement gift.

Eddie musters all his courage and introduces his girlfriend Tina to his mother, while Louis is looking for something new to do other than being a restaurant owner.

The Huang boys are trying to come up with a group costume for Halloween, and Louis wants to make Jessica understand why Halloween is a cool occasion.

When former Cattleman's manager Matthew Chestnut returns, everyone are suspicious of his motives except Louis. Emery and Evan give Marvin a lesson on feminism.

Jessica embarrasses Evan in front of his friends and drives him crazy. Eddie picks Allen Iverson as his "hero" for a school essay, which disappoints Louis.

Jessica makes up a schedule for her family to spend time together. Louis is helping Honey with her blog called TMI (True Mommy Insights).

Louis becomes a contestant on 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?', and he calls Eddie as his phone-a-friend, instead of Evan. Jessica and Emery come to an understanding over him wanting to be an actor.

Louis gives Jessica a hand for the holiday preparations. Eddie and Evan are in trouble for breaking Honey's expensive gift for Marvin.

Jessica gets a job as the a dean at her kids' private school, and she works hard to prove herself. Eddie and Emery explain to Evan that they don't have to hang together at school.

Eddie helps Evan with his spelling bee by getting former bee champion Simryn to coach him. Jessica is shocked by Emery's choice when she asks him to get a job.

After Evan breaks up with his girlfriend, he turns to his mother for comfort. Emery decides to become a vegan, which leaves Louis and Eddie in shock.

Jessica and Louis are upset after losing their family van. Eddie wants his brothers to go with him on a road trip to find their Washington, D.C. time capsule.

In a flash-forward, the family is seen attending a Harvard graduation, and in the present, Evan and Emery are arguing over Evan's memoirs.
