In the year 2007, David, an Egyptian intelligence agent, gets arrested in Eastern Europe, while Saif is arrested in Iraq by the US forces, so Manuela intervenes to get him out. Dina agrees to work for a Jewish organization.

A hostile country considers recruiting Dina. Saif, who later finds out that he’s under surveillance, delivers information about Al-Qaeda in Iraq to Akram.

As Abdel Moneim delivers the new information from Saif to Refaat, it becomes clear that Dina is an intelligence agent. Saif asks Khalil to get pictures from inside the prison. Ashraf and Osama die in a terrorist bombing carried out by Ibrahim.

Saif wakes up in the hospital after the accident, and decides to stay in Iraq until he completes his mission, while Refaat reassures Abdel Moneim that he is alive. As news of the accident goes viral, Dina recalls her past relationship with Saif.

Saif manages to smuggle Khaled to Egypt, whereas the latter refuses to inform Akram of the identity of Abu Ayyub, the new emir of Al-Qaeda. An unknown car hits Bassel. Rami rescues Dina.

When Bassel dies, Dina pretends she doesn’t know about the accident in front of Jubran. Saif returns to Cairo, and is told by Refaat about the intelligence agency’s decision to terminate his service.

As Saif struggles to adjust to normal life after his termination, he is put under surveillance by Refaat.

When Dina returns to Egypt, her grandfather kicks her out following her statements against the Palestinian cause. Souhaila offers to recruit Mina to work for the agency.

In a flashback, Refaat objects to Saif and Dina getting married, whereas, presently, he admits to Abdullah that Dina, his granddaughter, works for the intelligence agency. Saif is reinstated in his job.

Refaat assigns Farouk to train Saif. Saeed proposes to Dina a collaboration between her agency and the Muslim Brotherhood.

As Farouk puts Saif to his first test that is to get from the heart of the desert to the intelligence agency headquarters by a specific time, Saif fails in his mission.

Akram trains Mina in preparation for his recruitment. Saif begins his first mission which is to photograph a group of artifact smugglers at an auction.

Refaat orders the police to arrest Azzam. Farouk prepares Saif for the final mission in his training, whereas the latter goes to see Dina after a long estrangement between the two.

Dina asks Saif to stay away from her. Mahmoud gets increasingly suspicious of Wael and whether he’s been recruited by State Security against the Muslim Brotherhood. It's revealed that Akram has recruited Abdel Rahman.

Refaat finds out that Ricardo is the terrorist known as ‘The Monk’. Farouk warns Saif against mixing his personal life with work, whereas Dina goes to meet the former.

Abdel Rahman passes Akram's test. Saif takes on the task of meeting Ammar. Farouk assigns Dina a mission that could get her compromised.

Dina completes her mission with difficulty. Saif succeeds, while outside Egypt, in overcoming the difficulties of his mission and gets Ammar's letter to Refaat, whereas he undertakes smuggling Hanan to Egypt.

As Saif and Hanan escape before The Monk arrives, Saif returns to Egypt, while The Monk kidnaps Ammar. Nazli discloses Dina’s recruitment by the Egyptian intelligence to Isaac.

The Monk fails to get any information from Ammar. Aida's condition deteriorates when she learns that Saif has traveled abroad again.

The Monk threatens to kill Hanan, if Ammar refuses to disclose the mission information. Saif learns that his mother's condition has deteriorated, as he prepares to travel on his new mission.

As Dina prepares for her mission, she steals Nazli's safe. Saif stealthily gets to Syria, from which he manages to enter Turkey, then escapes after being chased by the police.

Saeed recruits Amr in an attempt to get Manar to join the Muslim Brotherhood. Dina manages to open Nazli's safe and photograph the documents inside it.

Nazli devises a plan to recruit Dina for the organization. Saif settles in Eastern Europe as Raef hooks him up with a job, whereas Dina returns to Egypt.

Saif gains Adnan’s trust. Mina manages to hack into Souhaila’s computer. Saeed offers Dina a job at Al Jabarti Center. Isaac and The Monk plan to recruit Saif.

Saif gets fired from his job along with Adnan. Manar attends the workshops conducted by Dina at Al Jabarti Center. Saif goes to meet Isaac and Ricardo 'The Monk'.

Saif succeeds in his meeting with The Monk, who starts training him, after which he charges him with returning to Egypt and collecting information about the tunnels connecting Sinai to Palestine. Dina faces many political clashes during the workshop she’s conducting.

Dina disapproves of her sister Rania working at Al Jabarti Center. Saif travels to Arish, while the 25 January revolution breaks out, and Hazem gets killed during a terrorist attack on the hospital.

Saif and his family struggle upon Hazem’s death. The Monk arrives in Egypt, while it’s announced to the demonstrators that Mubarak is stepping down from office.

Saif succeeds in his mission to help the intelligence agency control the computer of Ricardo ‘The Monk’. Saeed tries to force Walid to return to Al Jabarti center. Saif learns the last phase of Ricardo's mission in Egypt.

Saif thwarts Mike's attempt to blow up the hotel where the political forces conference is held. Akram arrests Ricardo ‘The Monk’, upon which the intelligence service hands him over to his country in exchange for Ammar's return to Egypt. Saif and Dina resume their work with a new mission.
