As Georgina takes a job as an art restitution lecturer in an attempt to get her life back on track, she crosses paths with Gabriel Hirsh, an antiquities recovery expert.

After getting mugged, Georgina is taken aback as she encounters old allies and enemies, while she and Gabriel seek to get to the bottom of Alex and Victor's relationship.

As Cesar suffers from a hangover, Georgina and Gabriel question him about Tomas Castillo. Georgina encounters problems with Ellen as she visits Alex.

As Georgina finds herself in a psychiatric ward, she believes she's been placed there on account of what she knows, whereupon she seeks a way to get out. Meanwhile, a concerned Gabriel enlists Daphne's assistance to report Georgina missing.

With Georgina and Gabriel on the loose, an enraged Alex asks Ellen to take care of this problem. Meanwhile, Victor and Dario are pleased as Cesar arrives in Buenos Aires safely.

In Buenos Aires, the unscrupulous mayor Victor desperately tries to convince the people of the city to re-elect him. Meanwhile, Georgina comes face-to-face with Daphne.

Panic sweeps through the city of Buenos Aires in the aftermath of the shootings, which causes the friendship of Georgina and Gabriel to suffer.

After becoming aware of the magnitude of Ellen's malicious plot, Georgina and Gabriel try to shake off their chasers as the duo rushes to save the lives of unsuspecting people.
