Raafat returns from his travels and finds that his grandfather, Haj Saeed, died, whereupon he comes upon a paper confirming that his grandfather was murdered.
Dr. Fouad discovers that the injection that the grandfather received was penicillin and not insulin, which led to his death. Abeer calls Majed to check on him, while Raafat hires guards for the villa.
Raafat calls Tarek, an officer and a close friend of his, and tells him about the messages he finds in his room, upon which Tarek comes and prevents everyone from leaving the villa.
The lab proves that Grandpa Saeed was murdered, and Tarek asks that all the computers in the house be examined.
Tarek talks to Hossam, Bassam's brother. As Fatima, the housemaid, is interrogated, she tells Officer Tarek all the details of her job.
Everyone receives their devices after they have been examined, whereupon Bassam tells Raafat that Fatima has hidden the fact that her daughter was burned in the villa's kitchen and Saeed did not give her any compensation.
The officer asks to interrogate Abeer since she was the first to see Saeed dead and the first to report the matter.
The officer interrogates Jamal's wife, Salwa, who tells him that Mahmoud was always fighting with his father because of the many disputes between them.
As the officer asks to interrogate Mahmoud, he learns from him that the Haj wanted to leave a will in which he would have divided the inheritance between him and his brother. Meanwhile, Hossam recovers from the bout, and his father quarrels with him, so Raafat rebukes him.
Officer Tarek is able to find out about Mahmoud's plan to sell his father's shops, while Bassam tells Raafat about the information he heard from Mahmoud.
Bassam tells Raafat that Abeer used to quarrel with Saeed, so much so that he left the room for her and returned to his old room. The doctor leaves the villa and goes to Majed, Abeer's cousin.
Dr. Fouad asks Majed not to contact Abeer so as not to cause her any problems. Bassam suffers a second bout, whereupon Mona tells the officer and Raafat about the cause of the bout and the accident that caused his brother's paralysis.
Officer Tarek directs questions at Mona and the rest of the family, while Bassam gives a message to Raafat.
Raafat reads the message and gives it to the officer, who asks to interrogate Dr. Fouad as soon as he reads it to find out from him the extent of his relationship with Abeer and Majed.
Officer Tarek orders that Majed be brought so that he can interrogate him about the message he sent to Abeer, who denies having received the last message in which Majed threatened Saeed.
The officer confronts Hassan and Majed with the threatening message falling into Abeer's hands, and the officer directly accuses Abeer of killing her husband, Haj Saeed.
The officer interrogates Jamal, especially after learning that the latter wanted, along with Mahmoud, to place Saeed under guardianship after declaring him legally incompetent. Meanwhile, it is proven that Saeed wanted to have Jamal imprisoned for stealing the company's money.
Bassam suffers another bout, and Mona tells the officer that Bassam's condition was caused by Saeed, who was cruel to him because he had caused his brother to be disabled.
Bassam is rescued and treated after he was struck with a metal object on the head. On the other hand, Abeer and Majed are charged with premeditated murder in Saeed's case.
The officer discovers that Bassam is the murderer as he wrote down all his steps in his private journal, wishing to take revenge on Grandpa Saeed, who wanted his father imprisoned, and he wanted to implicate Abeer in the matter.
