Nouria marries Masoud, and her sister Anisa marries Abdel Wakeel on the same day despite some obstacles, such as Marzouk's inability to provide a car to transport the two brides to the celebration venue.

Hafez goes to congratulate Masoud on the marriage despite his hatred for him because he will marry his cousin, who rejected him. As Qassem and his friend search for the celebration venue, they encounter several difficulties on the way.

The two brides arrive at the wedding venue amid everyone's joy and Hafez's sadness about losing Nouria, while Anisa quarrels with Abdel Wakeel because he did not send a car to fetch her.

Saeed presents Masoud with bottles of perfume he brought from Saudi Arabia, while Al Akel sells everything in his shop and buys old things from the residents, while Anisa is still mad at Abdel Wakeel.

As Nasser goes to Masoud's house to tell him that Hafez wants him for an important matter, Masoud tries not to let Nouria hear him, while Anisa quarrels with Abdel Wakeel.

Masoud tells his wife that he borrowed twenty gold pieces from Hafez so that he can marry her, and as Nouria gets pregnant, Masoud rejoices.

Masoud decides to travel to Saudi Arabia, while Anisa asks her husband to travel as well, but he refuses to go abroad.

Masoud travels and bids farewell to Nouria, who grieves because she will be alone. As Nouria gives birth, her mother helps her until her health improves, while Hafez is happy about having Masoud out of the country.

Masoud sends gifts and money to his wife, and Abdel Wakeel reads the letter Masoud sent her because she can't read.

When Saeed returns from Saudi Arabia, Nouria rejoices, thinking that Masoud has sent her a letter, but he has not, so she goes to Mansour to ask about Masoud, but he tells her that he has not seen him.

Abdel Wakeel buys a new oven and tells his wife that he borrowed the money, while Nouria is eagerly awaiting Masoud's return, especially since Hafez wants to marry her, declaring that Masoud has passed away.

The children of Anisa and Nouria grow up and start going to school, while Masoud is still missing. As the kids go out to play and are late in returning, Nouria thinks that Hafez has kidnapped them, so she quarrels with him.

When Marzouk falls ill, Anisa, Nouria, and the children visit him. Anisa finds it difficult to adapt to her life with her husband as he is always complaining and borrowing from the neighbors to pay off his debts.

Before Hazaa dies on his way to the village, he gives Abdel Wakeel a bag sent by Masoud to Nouria containing a large sum of money and his grandfather's watch, upon which Abdel Wakeel wonders if he should give the bag to Nouria when he needs the money.

Anisa returns home while Abdel Wakeel is about to hear the recording that Masoud sent, and as he goes to buy food, Anisa disposes of the tape player along with the tape.

Abdel Wakeel dreams that Nouria is visiting him and rebuking him for not telling her that Masoud is still alive, and as Hafez's daughter finds the bag that Abdel Wakeel hid, she throws it in the basement of her father's workshop.

Abdel Wakeel gives a sum of money to Nashwan, Nouria's son, and tells him that he owed it to his father, while Nouria learns to read and write in a literacy school.

Nashwan grows up, becomes a young man, and works in agriculture, while Anisa's two sons grow up, but they do not like to work.

Shaker wants to travel to make money, whereas Hamed wants to marry during the coffee season. Nashwan likes Soraya, Nabil's daughter, and wants to marry her, while her uncle Hafez hates him because his mother, Nouria, refused to marry him previously.

Hafez's daughter, Nima, dies after marrying Al Akel, and her mother keeps on remembering her. Hamed tells Nashwan that he wants to ask for Soraya's hand in marriage.

Nabil refuses to marry off his daughter to Hamed, and she refuses to marry him as well because she is waiting for Nashwan to betroth her, so Hamed decides to travel and leaves a letter for his mother in which he bids farewell to everyone.

Abdel Wakeel gets swindled and robbed, and as Nabil wants to strengthen his partnership with the British woman and her son, his wife feels jealous.

As Azzam and Rabie return from Saudi Arabia, Rabie credits his brother Azzam with buying the gifts he brought so that he does not feel embarrassed in front of the neighbors. Mahfouz also returns from abroad and asks his brother Hafez to give him his share of the inheritance.

Hamed calls his mother and lets her know that he is okay, and Abdel Wakeel goes to a hotel in Ethiopia to rest from traveling.

Hamed searches for his father everywhere and does not find him, while Hafez steals the coffee sacks and switches them in order to create a problem for Nashwan with the company he works for.

Abdel Wakeel works in a café and is in poor condition, while the police discover Masoud's bag hidden in Hafez's shop.

Masoud's body is dug up from a hole inside Hafez's shop after Ateeq testifies against him, so it is proven that he committed the murder, and the judge sentences him to death by firing squad.

Hafez regrets all the crimes he committed, asks everyone for forgiveness, and is led to the public square to be executed. Meanwhile, Hamed manages to reach the café where his father used to work, but he does not find him.

Before Hafez's execution, Anisa tells the officer that her husband told her that Masoud is still alive, and Nouria is surprised to see him in that condition and tells Nashwan that he is his father.
