As Charles Lindbergh ramps up the anti-Semitic rhetoric during his presidential campaign, Herman considers a job offer that will take him and his family to an unfriendly neighborhood in Union.

As Lindbergh's support base grows, Evelyn and her boyfriend Bengelsdorf join the ranks of his supporters, much to Alvin's frustration and anger.

Lindbergh's presidency soon gives rise to various incidents of discrimination against the Jews. Bess grows concerned about her family's safety after the Levins encounter such prejudice.

As Bengelsdorf and Evelyn grow closer to the Lindbergh regime, they clash with Herman and Bess, especially after Sandy starts spouting the same rhetoric.

Evelyn causes the family to be forced into relocation. The FBI continue their monitoring of Alvin. Herman looks to take a stand against the practices of the Lindbergh regime.

Things come to a head when Lindbergh vanishes amid violent attacks on the Jewish citizens. Chaos spreads when the Ku Klux Klan joins the mayhem.
