Mousa and Sou'ad rejoice when their daughter Farah obtains her MA. Mousa's mother and siblings come all the way from their home village to celebrate, while tension and buried sensitivities come to the surface between the family members.

A heart stroke claims Mousa's life, leaving Sou'ad and Mousa's mother to argue over where to bury him. Meanwhile, Salem, Mousa's brother, makes use of his brother's death to seize the company and enforce his control over it.

Salem and his mother subject the deceased Mousa's family to harsh treatment and unjust control as a dispute over the inheritance ensues. Sou'ad refuses to take the matter to court, and her brother tries to negotiate with Salem who kicks him out of the office.

Mousa's mother stipulates that Sou'ad must marry Salem if she is to get her late husband's inheritance. Sou'ad's daughter confront her about the proposal. Youssef, the brother of Mousa and Salem, returns from abroad.

As Youssef returns home, he assures Sou'ad and her daughters and proposes to Sou'ad, much to Salem's wife infuriation. Adel's architectural plans are accepted at Al-Sayad's Company. Sou'ad gets unspeakably mad when her mother-in-law accuses her of being unchaste.

Following Sou'ad's mother-in-law's accusations, Sou'ad and her daughters leave the house and stay at their uncle's. Salem and his mother are enraged to learn that Sou'ad has filed a lawsuit against them. Salem fires Farida from her father's company.

Salem changes the locks of Sou'ad's house and forbids her and her daughters' entry. Faten's cousin recruits her for his engineering office. Faten's fiancé sides with Salem against Faten. Salem hides the contract that safeguards the girls' rights.

Salem's son learns that his father has the late Mousa's phone. He also learns that his father didn't pay Mousa the money for the residential compound. When Youssef confronts his brother with the facts, he denies everything and shows him a forged contract of sale.

Salem catches Sabah as she tries to open his safe and get the forget contract. Youssef decides to fund Sou'ad's project and be her partner. Farida decides to return to her father's house. The lawyer decides to help Sou'ad and her daughters and advocate for them against their cruel uncle.

Salem divorces his wife. Farida returns to her mother. Salem causes trouble for Sou'ad's lawyer by exposing that the latter's son is adopted. Youssef decides to reinstate Faten in the company.

The mother gets mad at Salem when he beats his brother Youssef until he bleeds. Salem's behavior drives people away from him, until he has an accident and loses his memory. It's only through tragedies that one can find catharsis, and so it happens that Salem's tragic accident grants him forgiveness.

As Hend travels on a business trip to Dubai, she soon returns to Egypt for the declaration of the new regional director. But she is shocked when she doesn't get the promotion or the title. She starts to reminisce about how she solely focuses on her career and neglects her personal life.

Hend apologizes to her friend Sherine after a quarrel. As Hend decides to resign her job, her director gives her a vacation to reconsider and set things right in her life. Hend then tries to explore her familial ties.

When Hend tells her husband she's intent on resignation because she has grown weary, he clashes with her, saying she has to reconsider for the sake of the family's financial situation.

Hazem is unable to dissuade Hend from resigning her job, and all the alternatives she offers with regard to paying off their debts are met with rejection. Sherine avoids Hend.

Hend decides to participate in the company's marathon, even though she quit her job. Meanwhile, Hazem starts a fight with Nabil and Sherine at the club.

Hend tries to cope with her husband's mood swings, her son's introvertedness, and her painful past with her uncle who seized hers and her mother's inheritance.

Sherine learns that her husband is cheating on her. Eyad gets in trouble as he breaks his colleague's laptop, leaving Hend to find a solution.

Hend and Hazem try to deal with their incandescent son, and Hend believes there's a possibility he has depression. Things grow tense between Nabil and Sherine and he eventually divorces her. Sherine stays at Hend's.

Hend and her son Eyad grow closer, while Hazem leaves the house after he confronts Hend about their situation.

Hend helps Sherine recover and get back on her feet. Hazem decides to set things right between Hend and Eyad.

As Hend's relationship with Hazem and Eyad starts looking up, she decides to start a new project as she creates an e-store for handmade products. Hend gets ready for the marathon.

Hend makes it to the end of the marathon. Sherine falls ill and has surgery after which she recuperates.

As Amal and her family prepare for Shimaa's wedding, Amal's step-mother falls ill on the wedding day and gets rushed to the hospital after suffering from a diabetic coma. Amal reflects on her sad history.

Saddened that her former sweetheart has chosen Shimaa over her, Amal decides to turn her life around and go back to school to get her high school degree. Hajj Saad, the workshop owner, proposes to Amal. The warehouse attached to the workshop gets robbed.

Saad's children frame Amal for the warehouse's theft to get her out of the way. As Amal gets imprisoned, Saad stands by Amal and insists on marrying her, sticking by her until he proves her innocence.

Saad kicks his children out of the house. As Amal tries to work independently, she quits her job with Saad and refuses to marry him, starting a new chapter as she tries to sell her products on her own.

Omar confronts Amal about the incident of his sweetheart's insulting of her at the coffee shop. Amal catches her sister Dina as she is about to send inappropriate photos to her sweetheart. Amal's step-mother apologizes for what she did to Amal before she dies, prompting Amal to leave the house.

As Amal opens a workshop, clients start to flock to her. As Saad's children rob his shop then return to demand their rights, he kicks them out of the shop. Saad passes away.

Saad's children take charge of the shop after his death. As Amal passes her high school exams, she discovers that her kidneys are failing and that she needs a donor.

Sayed gets married without inviting Amal to his wedding. Amal is admitted to the hospital for her surgery. Omar's sweetheart, Farida, decides to apologize to Amal, who discovers that Omar is the one who donated his kidney to her. Shimaa's husband marries Hajj Saad's daughter.

As Shimaa asks Yasser for a divorce after learning of his second marriage, she asks Amal for forgiveness. As tension rises between Sayed and his wife after the latter learns of what he did to his sister, Sayed's father-in-law accuses him of squandering the marital furniture.

Yasser tries to apologize to Amal for what he did. The Tax Authority forecloses Saad's shop. Amal manages to help Sayed with his case. As Amal announces her engagement, she gets the chance to buy Saad's shop.

As Hajar gets a suitor, her refusal leaves her mother furious as Hajar continues to reject all her suitors. Hajar decides to apologize to Amr for the misunderstanding that took place over Ramy.

As Amr catches feelings for Hajar, he decides to contact her and reveal that he wants to propose to her. However, Hajar asks to get to know him first.

As Amr decides to propose to Hajar, who welcomes his proposal, Amr's mother objects to their marriage since they belong to different social classes.

Hossam tries to reconcile with Eman. As Khaled proposes to Hajar and confesses his old feelings for her, he soon apologizes for his request. Amr leaves rehab after his recovery.

As Amr visits Hajar to see his daughter for the first time, he tries to earn her forgiveness. Hajar gets a grant for half a million pounds. Hajar's sister marries Hossam.

Nour and Hatem clash after she recounts the story of her first love without revealing why her relationship ended. As Nour and her friend Tala go on a trip, Sherif accompanies them, and he and Nour get to talk. When Nour passes out, Sherif finds out that she has vitiligo.

As Hatem arrives to check on Nour after she passes out, he invites her to join him and his mother for lunch.

As Nour's spirits plummet after Hatem leaves her, she gets admitted to the hospital, where Hatem shows up for a visit. As Nour decides to seek therapy, she joins a support group.

As Nour's mother discovers that her husband has another wife, he is forced to tell her about his other wife's health problems. Nour refuses to tell the support group about her disease.

As Tala decides to confess her feelings for Sherif, he remains hung up on Nour and tries to seize the chance to win her favor.
