After deciding to illegally travel to Italy by sea, Al-Fahem packs his bag and says goodbye to all his friends. Babousha is happy because he will take a break from him, and as he goes to the café, where he meets Hamed, a new, eccentric customer comes, and even Munther doesn't like the way he talks.

Al-Fahem returns, enters Babousha's house without his knowledge and steals the food he prepared, so Babousha believes that the house is haunted by a genie. Hayat sells dresses for occasions and weddings and earns a lot of money, while Al-Mongy opens a shop selling birds and small animals.

As many terrorist strikes occur in the country, everyone talks about terrorism. Babousha enters the shop and thinks that there's a bomb inside, which is actually one of Al-Fahem's tricks. Al-Mongy agrees with his neighbor, Rawya, to introduce him to a girl in exchange for giving her a sum of money.

Fatima asks Babousha to help her prove her importance to her family and agrees with him that she hide with him. He calls Hayat and tells her he's a terrorist who kidnapped her mother in exchange for a sum of money, asking Al-Fahem not to tell anyone. Al-Mongy informs the cops, who arrest Babousha.

Babousha is discharged from the police station after Fatima tells them that they were joking, but she decides not to do anything at home and asks Hayat to rely on herself. Al-Mongy meets Zahra, whom Rawya told him about, but he is shocked by her ugliness and runs home after learning that Hagla arrived.

Hagla spends several days in Hayat's house and has agreed to work in some company. Al-Mongy asks Rawya to introduce him to Ruqayya's daughter, and his mother overhears him and gets angry with him. Nabil, a lawyer, comes to meet Hayat to reach an agreement with her on the eviction of the tenants.

Rawya comes to the store of Al-Mongy with Ruqayya, the mother of the girl whom he wants to marry, but she dislikes the store, and when she asks his mother about the property of Al-Mongy, Fatima is enraged and leaves her. Hayat dresses up to meet Nabil, the lawyer, and Hagla thinks she likes him.

Fatima tells her children that she has decided to get married, and the old suitor comes to the house, but Hayat laughs at him. Al-Mongy is angry with his mother because she wants to marry. Al-Fahem's parents come from the village, and Babousha asks Al-Eid to return Khamisa to him.

Al-Mongy gets angry with his mother after she tells him that she will marry Uncle Bashir because she thinks Hayat will marry Nabil, the lawyer, and he will marry Ruqayya's daughter. Al-Fahem continues to arouse the anger of Babousha with his actions.

Ruqayya visits Hayat's house, but Fatima refuses to greet her because Al-Mongy went to ask for her daughter's hand in marriage, despite her refusal. Al-Eid and his wife decide to return to the village after telling Babousha that Khamisa does not want to get back together with him.

Babousha agrees with Fatima to keep Al-Fahem away from Ruqayya and her daughter, so he gives Rawya 50 dinars to take over the task. Hayat discovers that Nabil is just a fraud who'd been in prison with Al-Barni and was released before him. Hagla wants to get rid of the employee in the company she'll open.

Al-Mongy invites Ruqayya and her daughter to dinner at home, and as Fatima gets angry with him, Hayat reconciles them, so Fatima prepares a very simple dinner to mock them. Hagla tries to calm things down during Ruqayya's visit. Babousha decides to marry another woman after Khamisa rejected him.

Jamila, Al-Fahem's fiancée, comes with her father to the capital to go to the doctor and visit her fiancé, so Babousha asks her to spend a few days with them, and she agrees. A new guy named Bu Lama shows up in the café, and he claims to be a big investor.

Babousha takes Jamila to Hayat's house so that she can work and live with her. Hayat likes the girl's naivety, but Fatima is unable to deal with her easily, while Al-Fahem is angry at her presence because he does not want her. Al-Mongy meets Bu Lama in the café, and the latter tries to deceive him.

Babousha likes a client of his, and she gives him her handkerchief as a memento, while Jamila stays at Hayat's house, and Al-Mongy does not love her at all. Al-Fahem works with tourists, introduces them to the Medina of Tunis, and earns a lot of money, while Babousha envies him.

As Ruqayya visits Fatima and finds Jamila there, she thinks she is her relative. Fatima asks her about her property and makes fun of her. As for Jamila, she goes to Babousha's shop to see Al-Fahem, who makes it clear to her that he is not pleased with her presence.

Al-Mongy gives a sum of money to Bu Lama to invest it for him, and Hamed encourages him. Jamila sees Al-Fahem with a foreign girl and feels sad after Al-Mongy tells her that Al-Fahem is going to marry the girl, and Babousha tries to comfort her. Al-Mongy suffers from depression for being single.

Al-Fahem is in hysteria because of his failure to complete his marriage to Ruqayya's daughter, and his mother calls her brother Hammadi to come and take him to the doctor, while Hayat and Hagla try to act as if the matter were normal.

Hamed tells Hayat that Bu Lama defrauded Al-Mongy of 5000 dinars. Hagla's friend visits Hayat's house, and everyone greets him with kindness because he is a handsome and kind young man. Al-Fahem invites his friend Maria to lunch at Babousha's house and teaches her the Tunisian dialect.

Hamed is sad as Bu Lama deceived him too. Hayat prepares the house for Hasouna's circumcision ceremony, which Al-Mongy attends wearing a new suit. Babousha, Al-Fahem, and all the neighborhood's people also come to congratulate Hayat. Fatima is happy as Al-Mongy's psychological condition is improving.
