As Hayat looks for a girl to take over the management of the shop, she receives the girls who want to work, but she finds them unsuitable. Her mother, Fatima, asks her to find a cook because she is tired of the housework. Al-Fahem lifts weights and eats all the food in the house, which angers Babousha.

2nd Episode

Hayat catches her mother while counting money and is surprised that she always asks for money, but Fatima tells her that it is for the Hajj. Al-Mongy's wife, Rafiqa, returns without him and tells his mother that he has been arrested for possessing bombs, whereupon Fatima faints out of the shock.

Fatima is in a bad psychological state because of her son's imprisonment, while Rafiqa does not care and goes early in the morning to buy pastries. Al-Mongy's uncle comes from Sfax and looks for a lawyer to clear Al-Mongy of terrorism charges.

Fatima is very angry at the behavior of Al-Mongy's wife as she only cares about herself and is not sad for him. Al-Mongy's uncle appoints a lawyer to defend him, but the lawyer is not normal. Al-Fahem looks for a job but does not find any, so Babousha laughs at him.

5th Episode

Babousha likes a child who exactly looks like him. As Hayat and Khamisa see him, Babousha asks his wife to have a child, but she refuses because she does not want to after she has accepted to work in Hayat's shop. As the lawyer comes to Fatima's house, Hagla and Hayat are disgusted by his actions.

Dr. Ahmed, Hagla's husband, comes to check on Fatima's health and patch things up with his wife after her quarrel with his mother. Khamisa begins working in the beauty shop and still doesn't know how to deal with customers. Al-Fahem tries to attract tourists and have a walk with them for money.

The investigator comes to Hayat’s house, inspects all the rooms, and interrogates her, Rafiqa, and Hagla about their relationship with Al-Mongy. Another officer goes to Babousha's house and asks Khamisa, her husband, and Al-Fahem about Al-Mongy.

Fatima prepares the food she'll send to Al-Mongy in prison, but the lawyer asks for a thousand dinars, and Rafiqa tells him that it is too much, so Fatima gets angry with her. Khamisa brings in a lot of money to the shop, which overjoys Hayat. Al-Fahem works at the café until Hayat finds a new waiter.

Parisa comes from Algeria to visit Hagla in Hayat's house. She prepares to perform a play and starts rehearsing. Fatima is afraid to sleep with her in the same room and sleeps in the room of Rafiqa, who doesn't stop talking. Babousha goes to the café and orders coffee, but Al-Fahem pours water on him.

As Hayat meets Khamis Bu Lama at the café, Hamed is jealous. Rafiqa likes him, but Hayat asks her to go up to the house. Fatima is still afraid of Parisa while she's rehearsing the play. As Khamisa learns French, Babousha is jealous, especially since she has changed and is now talking to male clients.

Fatima quarrels with Rafiqa because she doesn't help her with the housework and complains about her to Hayat. Khamisa goes to Hagla to learn French, while Hayat has increased her salary because of her good work in the shop. Al-Fahem quits the café, and his friend Al-Fituri visits him to find a job.

Al-Mongy is released from prison, and his mother is very happy, but she is so jealous of Rafiqa that she went out with them, whereupon they escape from her, and Hayat laughs at her. Khamisa wants Babousha to be jealous over her, so she does everything that annoys him.

Al-Mongy quarrels with his mother and starts talking to her in a bad manner as a result of the instigation of Rafiqa, so everyone gets angry with him, his mother abandons him, and Hagla stops supporting him. Al-Mongy meets his friends at the café. Fatima burns Rafiqa's food in retaliation.

Fatima gives money to Al-Mongy so that he can buy new clothes for himself, but he buys for his wife instead. As Babousha suffers from high blood pressure due to Khamisa and Al-Fahem, he goes to the hospital. When Hagla's husband returns from his travels, he gives her a gift and they patch things up.

Rafiqa treats Fatima so badly that when Fatima falls, she gloats over what happened. Al-Fahem buys a sheep and puts it at home, while Babousha is still in the hospital. Rafiqa is jealous of Hagla and asks Al-Mongy not to let her kiss him again.

Rafiqa's mother visits her, but Fatima cannot stand her presence because she is inciting her daughter against Al-Mongy and the people of the house, and has become arrogant with them. Khamisa's parents also visit Al-Mongy as he's hospitalized. Rafiqa is surprised by the presence of a man in her room.

Hayat quarrels with Rafiqa and her mother because she smokes shisha at home. Hayat's uncle comes from Sfax and asks Al-Mongy to take his wife and mother-in-law and go with him, but Rafiqa refuses to leave the capital and insists on staying.

Hagla discovers that Rafiqa and her mother steal money from Fatima's bag after they sneak into her room. When Hayat and Al-Mongy learn, they ask them to leave. As for Al-Fahem, he travels to Holland to his girlfriend, and his mother grieves a lot. Khamisa and Babousha's relationship is better.

Azouz, Fatima's brother, suffers from mental disorders, causing him to behave strangely, so Hayat and Hagla decide to take him to a psychiatrist without his knowledge. Al-Fahem's mother misses her son so much that she puts on his clothes, which surprises Babousha.

Finale

Al-Fahem returns from Holland and tells his sister and Babousha that he couldn't fit in there. As he distributes gifts, he gives Babousha a wig, and everyone mocks him. Hagla decides to return to Sfax when her husband returns from travel. Al-Mongy talks to Rafiqa via the Internet, so Fatima takes his phone.
