After a major fire breaks out in a village, the villagers grow concerned about Hussein and his children's reaction to the fire, since it was perpetrated by their mortal enemy, Saget Al-Faleh, as an act of revenge.
Jebara is discomfited after Saget publicly humiliates him. Fadel goes back to his normal life after he returns to the village. The watchmen look for Hussein Al-Saget's children at his house.
Raziq gets in trouble with Saget Al-Faleh when he fails to bring him Jassem and his siblings. Instead, Saget orders Raziq to bring him Fatime, Jassem's mother, and tries to force her to turn her children in.
Saget Al-Faleh continues to hold Fatime. As Te'ema dies, Jassem mourns him as his cousin tries to get him a death certificate against Saget's wishes.
Jebara travels with his friend and wife to the capital. During the day, Saget enjoys Karim's lovely voice after he has a tour with Arej, and he gives Karim three dinars.

Jebara and Fadala's son, Fadel, meet after a long time. Hussein Al-Saget's children give Al-Mulla his chicken back. Al-Mulla gets in trouble because of Salima's daughter.
Farag and Nazira finally meet after a long separation. Saget Al-Faleh decides to punish Karim by shoving burning embers down his throat to prevent him from singing ever again. Karim's brothers vow revenge on Saget. Saget clashes with his uncle.
Aneid asks Sultan for Khadija's hand in marriage. Hasnaa meets Karim after Saget burned his throat. Tahsin bargains with Farag to get him to do what he wants. Saget asks Raziq to handle Hasnaa.
