After a major fire breaks out in a village, the villagers grow concerned about Hussein and his children's reaction to the fire, since it was perpetrated by their mortal enemy, Saget Al-Faleh, as an act of revenge.

Jebara is discomfited after Saget publicly humiliates him. Fadel goes back to his normal life after he returns to the village. The watchmen look for Hussein Al-Saget's children at his house.

Raziq gets in trouble with Saget Al-Faleh when he fails to bring him Jassem and his siblings. Instead, Saget orders Raziq to bring him Fatime, Jassem's mother, and tries to force her to turn her children in.

Saget Al-Faleh continues to hold Fatime. As Te'ema dies, Jassem mourns him as his cousin tries to get him a death certificate against Saget's wishes.

Jebara travels with his friend and wife to the capital. During the day, Saget enjoys Karim's lovely voice after he has a tour with Arej, and he gives Karim three dinars.

Te'ema's funeral is held. Jassem's uncle asks him to make peace, but Jassem wants Saget to admit to killing his father. Saget Al-Faleh attends the funeral.

Sultan returns. Nazira helps Ra'd with his studies, clothes, and job. At night, Sultan delivers a message from Baghdad to Saget Al-Faleh.

Saget Al-Faleh decides to pursue a business opportunity away from agriculture. When Al-Moula is robbed blind, he complains to Saget and vows revenge on the thieves.

After Raziq is assaulted while asleep in his tent, he is taken elsewhere and tied up. Fadala's son, Sultan, returns to the village and visits Fatime. Saget Al-Faleh tries to consolidate his power.

As Saget Al-Faleh grows angry after his assistant Raziq vanishes, he starts to suspect Hussein's children. Saget and Nayef's daughter Sama talk over what happened between them in the past.

Saget's young wife asks for a divorce, but he would not hear of it. Despite his good relationship with Saget, Sultan asks his brother to monitor Saget and record every single detail, no matter how minor, about his movements.

Saget Al-Faleh decides to put an end to his conflict with Hussein Al-Saget's children. When his wife Sama questions him about why he killed Hussein, he denies his involvement in the crime. A pavilion is set up, and Saget listens and agrees to Fatime's demands.

Karim's friends tell him about Tarfa's death. Saget advises Sama to allow her son to choose his own path. When Saget discovers that Rahima refuses to sell him the hall that they agreed on, he calls him in.

Saget decides to punish Huwaishem for stealing chickens. He tries to know about Auwaid's whereabouts. The sweethearts Karim and Hasnaa try to meet in secret.

Sama is saddened that her son Tarek has to stay in London. She demands her rights from Saget Al-Faleh and questions him about what he did to Qusair.

In order to get him to reconsider his relationship with Nazira, Farag is arrested and forced to sign a promissory note for 200 dinars. Karim decides to break up with Hasnaa.

As Saget Al-Faleh prepares to receive one of his English friends who is coming to visit the village, he tells his men to receive him warmly. Jebara grows concerned about Fakhriya and her state in the house where she lives. He also grows afraid that the blood feud will be reignited.

Tahsin tries to blackmail Nazira after she decides to get married. Saget's English friend tours the village with Sultan.

Jebara and Fadala's son, Fadel, meet after a long time. Hussein Al-Saget's children give Al-Mulla his chicken back. Al-Mulla gets in trouble because of Salima's daughter.

Farag and Nazira finally meet after a long separation. Saget Al-Faleh decides to punish Karim by shoving burning embers down his throat to prevent him from singing ever again. Karim's brothers vow revenge on Saget. Saget clashes with his uncle.

Aneid asks Sultan for Khadija's hand in marriage. Hasnaa meets Karim after Saget burned his throat. Tahsin bargains with Farag to get him to do what he wants. Saget asks Raziq to handle Hasnaa.

Karim complains to Farag about the hard times he has fallen onto. Fatime receives a letter from her son, who is abroad. Sultan decides to have Raziq reveal to Sama that Saget Al-Faleh is the one who killed her father.

Sama confronts Saget about how he had his men drown Bint Mokter in the lake. Al-Mulla complains to Saget that his cow was stolen. To avenge what was done to him, Karim sends people to kidnap Saget.

Karim refuses to stoop to Saget's level and use fire to punish him as he did to Karim. The village learns that Sultan's wife has drowned. The elders of Saget's family insist on having him released.

A broken-down Saget finds himself in front of Fatime's house. Tahsin sends someone to shoot Farag. Saget Al-Faleh is shot in the head. Hussein Al-Saget's family finally reunites.
