Ubadah attacks his father-in-law, treacherously stabs him in his sleep, takes the bag of gold, and flees with his son Jubayr to the tribe of Banu Sufa. Safwan saves Ziyad ibn Kaab, the emir of Banu Sufa from death. Layla, Ziyad's daughter, admires Safwan and tells her friend, Hubba.

Ubadah changes his name to Bakr and his son Jubayr's name to Malik so that no one in Banu Sufa would know him. Bakr tells his friend that he wants to wed his son Malik to Layla, Ziyad ibn Kaab's daughter. Qusayy's mother asks her son Rajah not to tell Qusayy of his lineage to the people of Mecca.

Ziyad ibn Kaab learns from his guards that Rabia, the man who came to Mecca and stayed with Hulail, has been killed and orders his guards to search for the killer and bring him alive. Safwan tells his friend that he is in love with Layla.

Hubba tells Layla that Safwan ibn Al-Harith loves her a lot and asks her to confess her love to him. Also, she suspects that Bakr and his son Malik were the ones who killed Rabia.

Safwan decides to ask for his beloved Layla's hand in marriage from her father, Ziyad. Qusayy learns the truth about his lineage, so he decides to go to Mecca and search for his other brother.

Abu Damra accuses Safwan ibn Al-Harith of trying to kill Ziyad ibn Kaab and asks Kaab to order his men to arrest and kill him. Layla loses her head after she learns that Abu Damra is trying to entrap Safwan to get rid of him.

Qusayy meets his brother Zuhrah and tells him that he was unaware of his people and that his mother hid the matter from him in order to make him stay by her side. Qusayy asks Safwan not to leave the tribe and to stay with him in order to restore their rights and the rights of their ancestors.

Abu Damra accuses Bakr and his son Malik of preparing the soldiers to carry out a major operation inside Mecca to impose their influence and control over the city. Ziyad summons Bakr and Malik, and they deny all the charges against them.

Safwan meets his girlfriend Layla and asks her to get married because he is afraid of her father Ziyad and Banu Sufa's anger at her because of the big problems between his people and her people, but she refuses Safwan's request.

Qusayy asks Ziyad ibn Kaab and his father to bring Bakr and his son Malik to the palace, and he interrogates them about the murder of Rabia and the other man who was killed in Mecca.

Qusayy insists on accusing Bakr and Malik and asks the people of Banu Sufa to confirm the matter. Hubba tells her friend Layla that she admires Qusayy ibn Kilab's courage and boldness.

Qusayy meets Hubba and hints at her admiration for her. Hulail asks Qusayy to help him discover and reveal the crimes of Bakr and Malik in Mecca to the people and to give him strong evidence of that.

Hubba tells her friend Layla that Qusayy is in love with another girl named Fatimah and that she rushed and made a mistake in her love for him.

Qusayy tells Abu Damra that he is aware of the ambush that he and his men made for Bakr and his son Malik when they left Mecca and that he would inform Ibn Kaab of what he did if he did not respond to his request and send Yazid back to Mecca.

Abu Ghashan sneaks into his father Hulail's room and tries to kill him, then the palace guards appear and arrest him, while his sister Hubba decides to hold him in prison until she decides his fate.

Hulail tells his daughter Hubba that he wants to wed her to the knight Qusayy ibn Kilab because of his courage and manners, unlike her treacherous brother Abu Ghashan. Safwan tells his lover Layla that he will never abandon her.

Safwan tells Qusayy that Ziyad killed men from Banu Kinana and captured his brother Zuhrah and that they repaid him the debt by killing seven men of his guards, and they eventually ratified a peace treaty.

Qusayy goes to check on his lover Hubba in her father Hulail's palace. Zuhrah makes sure that Abu Damra is plotting against the Sufa and Kinana tribes in order to ignite a war between them.

Hubba tells her lover Qusayy that her father wants him to wait before judging Ziyad ibn Kaab. Abu Damra devises a plan to undermine Qusayy after he became famous among the tribes' knights, especially the Quraysh tribe.

Qusayy's mother gets sick and asks to meet her son. Safwan promises Layla that he will return safely from war and asks her to wait for him.

Abu Damra goes to Bakr and Malik and tells them that he wants to get rid of Safwan, Qusayy, and Ziyad ibn Kaab, asking them to help him implement his plan.

Ziyad ibn Kaab gets angry at his daughter Layla after she asks him to fix the affairs of the tribe and take care of the people of Mecca, but he insists on resolving his problems with his enemies first.

Ziyad ibn Kaab summons Bakr and Malik and agrees with them to kill Hubba, the lover of his enemy Qusayy, in exchange for them to return to Mecca and trade as before.

Qusayy meets his lover, Hubba, and urges her to stay in power and take over the affairs of the tribe after the death of her father. Hubba learns that her brother wants to incite the tribesmen against her to take over the tribe.

Ziyad ibn Kaab tells his daughter Layla that he does not mind her marrying Safwan ibn Al-Harith, after making sure of the sincerity of his feelings and intentions towards her and his strong love for her, and he asks her to tell him of his approval.

Qusayy prepares to reunite the tribes to defend the Kinana tribe from the danger of Abu Damra and Ziyad ibn Kaab. Also, he warns Layla of Abu Damra and tells her that he is staying somewhere inside the palace without her knowledge.

Safwan ibn Al-Harith tells his friend Qusayy that he learned of Abu Damra's plot to harm his soldiers and knights before they go to the battlefield and asks him to be careful.

Hubba gathers her men and tells them that Qusayy is the chieftain of the people of Mecca by order of her late father Hulail, who appointed Qusayy to take over the affairs of the state before his death.

Hubba goes to Kinanah to check on her husband Qusayy before the start of the battle and tells him that she will not go to Taif.

Daad avenges the killing of her husband Saqr and kills Ziyad ibn Kaab after he agreed to a peace treaty between his tribe and the tribe of Kinana. Layla decides to go to Taif with her lifetime friend Hubba.
