Hajj Mabrouk is the biggest property dealer in town but is gravely ill. His eldest son Fathi decides to forge a waiver for all of Mabrouk's property to himself and gets his fingerprint on it. His father dies and he kills his stepmother, who witnesses the crime. Adel returns from Canada after his father's death.

A stranger enters the living room and kills an asthmatic Gamal's dog, so when the latter sees it, he hyperventilates then dies. The police officer questions all the brothers since there's a suspicion of murder.

The policeman gathers information about the Hajj's family to solve the mystery of Gamal's death. Meanwhile, someone watches Salem at his apartment, and his wife is later shocked to find his mother screaming, and her son bloody and unconscious in her arms.

The policeman goes to the crime scene, searches the room, and finds a photo of Salem with another woman strewn on the floor, so he accuses the wife of killing her husband for cheating, but she denies it. However, research shows the photo is photoshopped. Later, they find the wife herself killed in her room.

The investigator discovers that there is poison in the chewing gum that was in Nawal's mouth at the time of her death. He also discovers a knife and poison in Fathi's bag and arrests him amid the disbelief of his siblings that he was the one who killed his brothers.

The officer thinks about the anonymous caller who tipped him off about Fathi's bag to find evidence of the murder. Adel remembers how he stole money from his father's room and that the latter fainted when he saw him, after which Adel escaped and told everyone that he was in Canada.

The daughter of El Hajj remembers when the man she loved proposed to her father, but the latter refused because he was a singer, so she never married. Meanwhile, Safaa, Sufyan's girlfriend, discovers that he's having an affair with her friend, so she refuses to speak to him.

Rama asks Hamza to travel with her to Britain and get married there because his father refuses to let him marry a girl older than him, so he searches for his passport and learns that El Hajj was the one who took it. Meanwhile, Adel goes to visit his brother Fathi in prison.

Nagat meets her ex, hoping they'll get married now that her father died, but he tells her he got married. The officer is fired from the investigation of the case but manages to come back again to solve the mystery. Nagat enters Hamza's room when she hears a strange sound and finds a man about to strangle him.

Nagat sees the man who strangled Hamza, and recognizes him. However, the officer accuses her of the murder because she had always been at odds with Hamza, and Fathi gets released and visits his brother Kamal's girlfriend to talk to her.

Fathi fights with Kamal's friend the psychiatrist and wants her to confess what she did to him, not knowing that Kamal has formed a plan with her. Safaa's friend tells Sufyan about the person who got her to ruin Safaa's reputation. Fathi searches Adel's room and finds a necklace with a picture on it.

Sufyan and Safaa's friend get poisoned in the café, and when Safaa learns the news from her brother, she faints. The officer interrogates Fathi regarding the victim. While climbing the stairs to her room, Nagat is killed.

Fathi kills Adel, thinking he's Kamal after discovering that the latter was the one who committed all the murders, but the genetic analysis proves that the body was that of Adel, who was kidnapped for ransom, and Fathi gets arrested.

While Fathi is in prison, the officer confesses to him that he killed all his brothers and not Kamal, who suffers from mental problems, and the reason was that El Hajj deceived his father, which paralyzed him for life, so he wanted to avenge him.
