As Fathi marries his colleague Fatima, a girl from a humble family, Mustafa marries Samira, a girl from a wealthy family who was chosen for him by his mother.
Fathi and Mustafa live in their mother's house with their wives, and Hawaa treats Samira better than Fatima because she comes from a rich family. Samira is not good at cooking, while Fatima cooks without complaining.
Ezz El Din suggests to Mustafa that he partner up with him on a project and leave teaching to be at the same financial level as his family, and he agrees. Khaled visits his sister Samira and tells her about his quarrel with his father because he did not give him the money he wanted.
Mustafa partners up with Ezz El Din in a food business, and Hawaa goes to the fortune-teller and asks him to perform magic to separate Fathi and his wife.
As Fatima discovers that her mother-in-law is bewitching her, she tells her husband about it, and they agree to pretend that Fatima is possessed, so she makes crazy movements, such as grabbing a knife and trying to kill Hawaa, who gets terrified and confesses to what she did.
Fathi quarrels with his mother because Mustafa placed his goods inside the house and turned it into a warehouse. Halouma asks Ezz El Din to register some of his property in the name of his son Khaled, but he refuses.
Fathi and his wife go to live in his father-in-law's house because of Hawaa's harsh treatment of Fatima, while the relationship between Hawaa and Samira becomes tense due to her always going out and leaving her alone in the house. Khaled quarrels with his wife and she asks him for a divorce.
Hawaa gets sick and Samira goes to her parents' house so she won't tend to her, while Fathi and his wife don't know about her illness. Khaled earns a large sum of money from a scam without his father's knowledge.
Ezz El Din and Mustafa are arrested on charges of importing expired foodstuffs, then Mustafa is released. Fathi and his wife return to live with Hawaa, while Mustafa and Samira get divorced, and Laila seizes Khaled’s property after registering it in her name.
